I think Frank Ocean and The Weeknd are rumored to have albums ready but not sure if they are releasing this year. 

I don't think The Weeknd is releasing anytime soon, his album rollouts usually start waaaay before the album drops, both heartless and BL were released about 4 months before the album did, same for his previous work. Coldplay and Elton John are the only major October releases I could think of. And tbh, I don't care about BB charting well or commercially succeeding and I'm sure Lana doesn't care either, the public will still bring up her twitter shenanigans to invalidate her music no matter how successful and critically acclaimed it may be.

This is called audio clipping, and I noticed it on Spotify as well. Just tried listening on Tidal and don’t have this issue though. Hopefully it gets fixed on Spotify.

I don’t know if I’m the only one having this issue, but when I listen to Arcadia on Spotify, the volume of her voice when she belts seems too high, like the vocals are placed too forward in the mix, which sometimes creates a sort of distortion. When I listen to the exact same part on the song preview on Apple Music, the vocals seem perfectly placed in the mix and there’s no distortion at all.

Does anyone know why this BB CD ships on October 2nd? Might be a mistake but not sure.

I don’t think critics ignored COCC at all. It’s the most reviewed “mainstream” album of the year. It actually received very good reviews too which is surprising considering her reputation at the time.

Kind of weird that they don’t ship until a week after the album’s release date.

The song actually did pretty good on Spotify with the small hours of tracking that it had. I think it also has to do with the type of music she releases though. Kind of how like Lorde had a lot of hype before her comeback but once she released the music, I didn’t hear that many people talk about it. Probably due to the more stripped back nature of the music.
