Lavender Sunshine liked a post in a topic by lili in What Are You Listening To?
Yess it’s supposedly inspired by his drug addiction causing a rift in the band, which eventually led to him quitting Fleet Foxes and pursuing his own thing. It’s really interesting to hear his chilling back vocals on a track about himself.

i can understand why people make that connection though, if you look at her past relationships and the people she was with, they match the sound she was going for at the time
arthur lynn - hard rock, hair metal
steven mertens - surf, experimental
barrie - alternative folk, alternative rock
francesco - romantic, atmospheric, songs like salvatore and 24
g-eazy - trap/hip-hop
sean - folk, country, americana, mellow sounds
i don't think there's anything wrong with her being very inspired by her partners and reflecting their personality in her music, and i don't think anybody means anything bad by pointing it out

Idk if realism can apply to speculation over an unreleased/unannounced album. Pls leave rationality at the log in page and join me in welcoming Rick Nowles as LDR 10’s main producer

I’d have to disagree… bb feels summery to me honestly but i can see to what degree that people would classify it as such
but even the uv outtakes excluding living legend feels summery to me!… tropico/most 2013 uv outtakes radiates pure summer to me : )

The Doors - Indian Summer.
It would fit her better than her favorite sweater.
