it’s honestly kind of annoying how she keeps name dropping in her songs, like this isn’t question for the culture 

I have to say I find her lyrical style lately very standard form for her in terms of writing-take this as an example of what we could get:

i want lana to challenge her writing abilities with this album. she’s been so on the nose lately. i would love a bit of mystery to her lyrics again. 

i’m getting a neutral pink kinda like a coral / mauve vibe

No! they’re absolutely right. NFR! has some of the most addictive, gorgeous melodies. the production and sound engineering has something off about it. it sounds like everything’s compressed, and it makes it really hard to fall in love with the album as a whole even when individual songs sound amazing. this is obviously just my opinion but for real the NFR production ruins the album, if you don’t have expensive sound equipment then you won’t enjoy the experience as much as you can with the rest of her albums imo.

have they produced great songs? yes. are those songs good because of their production? absolutely not.

it drives me bonkers when lana fans ask for 2.0s of albums we already have like i personally would prefer a NEW and FRESH sound

it would be so much better if lana goes for a full jazz album than for a full country album

an absolutely DIABOLICAL song. Truly horrifying to listen to. I don’t know if I have ever even finished it after I listened to the album the first time honestly. 

Most of Tropico was filmed in Chatsworth, including the G&M scene at a club called The Candy Cat. (It closed in 2017, but they have another location called Candy Cat Too in Winnetka.)
I would also assume Bel Air was shot in Chatsworth or at least somewhere nearby, since they shot all of Tropico in a 3-day span x

Manifesting interesting and original song concepts on LDR9. I appreciate the topics on her post LFL albums cause I love her personal storytelling but I miss her old (like pre BTD old) songs where they were like little independent stories.
For example in Last Girl On Earth the lyrics are maybe not technically as good as her newer stuff but the concept is so interesting to me. Her "criminal saga" songs like Dangerous Girl, Live Or Die, Hit It & Run etc would be crucified if they were released today but they are brilliant and so fun. And I will never shut up about how good Playing Dangerous (+ Crooked Cop) are.
She needs to write an original musical for Broadway (or release the alleged Rick one )

For example, I learned not so long ago that Flipside's "intro" is actually fanmade and it's just the real intro guitar looped and reversed I believe   As the song is not available on streaming and I don't have the special UV versions I've always listened to it from YT or other not legit places so I was shocked when someone here mentioned it.
Another clearer one (that I think almost everybody knows at this point but I see a lot from youtube and tiktok stans) is that the male voice in Brooklyn Baby is not Barrie
