i literally just got my HMV dispatch notice for the vinyl? 

Did you get the 2nd class free delivery or pay extra gor delivery? mine hasn't been dispatched yet. But hmv have always delivered preorders on the day or before. Hoping we all get it a couple days early!

They really should. They've had long enough to get this damn album ready.  And I hate getting records super late after the release date.

Praying they send all the preorders so we can have them on release day if possible since the album already leaked

While Lana Del Ray (commonly known as AKA) wasn’t Lana’s first studio album -- that honor goes to Sirens -- it was her debut on a record label, and her first album to be sold commercially. AKA’s history was turbulent, which probably owes to much of the mystery and misinformation that surrounds the album today:
 
 
As noted above, the formation of AKA brought about many demos and outtakes that didn’t make the final cut, including Lizzy’s collaborations with producer Steven Mertens. Lana’s promotion of her music during the AKA era included interviews, frequent live performances, and perhaps most distinctively, the creation of self-assembled music videos for most of the tracks on the album, much like the “Video Games” visuals that would propel her to stardom in 2011. I dont really get the hate for LMLYLAW. Okay! Like, i understand that sonically / lyrically, the song is so average for Lana standard but it's cute tho. Reminds me of her early unreleased stuff ?

The way this album will hit me when I return to work and having meetings at the godamn country club 

I think she will defo do 100k+ first week. !

It’s kinda up in the air imo. His single made no noise and bundles can’t save him. I think it might be a fight for #1.

I think so. It was horrible to acknowledge her pain. She may be wrong sometimes, mostly for not finding the right words to express herself, but she definitely does not deserve this kind of treatment from “fans”. 

Me haven’t listened to leaks and waiting for the 19th entering this thread like: 

I haven’t even heard the album but I already know that Joshua Tree is the perfect place to soak it in even further...  that sounds absolutely beautiful. Enjoy and let us know how your experience is! 

FIIIIIIINALLY WE’RE CROSSING THE THRESHOLD TO THE POST-RELEASE WORLDDD

So insane that we’re just a week away. It feels like yesterday we were aimlessly surfing source codes, calling stores, theorizing about songs - but it’s crazy to think that the peak of our doing that was from June to August! 7-9 months ago. It’s so crazy how time flies when you’re having fun  so many friendships were made during this pre-release. And now we get to have fun in the post-release thread and actually celebrate this record that we’ve spent the last year waiting for!  It’s like the ripening of fruit as spring blooms in   5 days and 6 midnights to go! 

We’ve got about another week of this thread fully alive and breathing. I’m gonna miss it so much. What a wild ass roller coaster this pre-release has been.
