I wonder what are the new songs... I guess something like Peppers and LTLI or Stargirl? Cause she has performed all of her "lowkey upbeat hits" in the past (even Radio before it went viral). Maybe they meant new as a new setlist and not never performed before tho

No way is Lasso going down the same path. Besides, Baby Blue, Henry, Prettiest Girl in Country Music all have a lighter tone.

I don't know why people are scared that we're getting a traditional yeehaw country album when Lana is both the queen of making every genre her own and also the queen of not describing properly her records 
 
Her and Jack also talk about taking risks all the time and even though she said the songs were going to be simpler she probably meant lyric-wise (so less like Fingertips and more like LTLI I guess).

I am still confident that this is a classic country album. I really don't think the Quavo song is for Lasso. 

A+ essay, it's so well written with all the profound thoughts and expressions. Analysis and reasoning? Check. Perfect textbook example. 
 
And I agree with everything you said, Lana never does anything in a basic way, she definitely will integrate many of her elements in Lasso - poetic yet fascinating storytelling and there definitely will be songs in different, more strange nature which will be iconic fan favorites like A&W or White Dress or Venice Bitch.

Wasn't there a haunted house photo shoot/ video shoot a few years ago (around chemtrails or bannisters?) that never seemed to amount to anything.....given that lana has been working on Lasso for like four years....... and given Elle's preternatural abilities...... well it is certainly interesting. Certainly it must mean something...

Dolly Parton's original version of "I Will Always Love You" feels like something Lana would create, sonically and melodically speaking – so I feel like a rustic, Americana, guitar-driven (acoustic and steel pedal) sound is imminent. Maybe something like a stripped-down Ultraviolence or a labouring on the sounds explored on Chemtrails. "Henry, Come On" reminded me so much of some 2013 material (particularly Chelsea Hotel No. 2, Nectar of the Gods, Unidentified Flying Bill) 

I’m sorry but what’s the problem with the outro that everybody’s complaining 😭?? Everyone was describing it as if it was the worst thing ever and it’s a normal outro? Just a bit more psychedelic which I don’t mind at all 
 
btw this has to be my favourite non-album single she has released in the past years, I hope they use it in an episode!!
