so weird. Also we know her track record of applying descriptors to her own music so like…

i'm sorry but i really don't get people saying this, you don't even know what it sounds like yet? all she said was that it would be country, but that could mean a variety of different things and we know she's not necessarily always accurate with her descriptors 

how i go about my life knowing i don't automatically hate a record i hardly know anything about just because it was vaguely described as country (which could mean a lot of different things)

I truly truly hope Ocean can win big at Grammys this Sunday, it deserves it no matter what yall trying to tell me. This is THE album of the 2023. No more arguments.

I haven’t commented yesterday on that anonymous voter’s comment about Lana because not only was it unfair to Lana, but it frustrated me too much. This is misogyny at its best: we still hold against a woman a misstep made 12 years ago, that wasn’t even a big deal in the grand scheme of things, she redeemed herself so many times over and meanwhile, men get to be « forgiven » or have the most ridiculous sentences for being sex predators… I know it’s not the same, but a man could fuck up on SNL and nobody would bat an eye for sure. 

Fingertips does not get enough love, she should win a grammy for that song alone
