i see Paradise as a full album tbh. its pretty distinct to BTD (at least for me) and Interscope only released it as an EP to bundle it with BTD and raise total sales for it, just like they did with The Fame & The Fame Monster. so its an album in all but name if you ask me

And yet, Paradise is longer than so many LP released these days, which sometimes barely are over 30 minutes haha!

tbh i don't really hear cruel world, MPG, or FMWUTTT as angry, she just seems sort of like fed up about whatever she's singing about and the songs come off more as like ironic mocking (MPG and FMWUTTT) or sad (cruel world). songs in lana's released discography that lyrically come across as "angry" to me are dealer (she said in her insta live that she was "furious" in that song), cherry, high by the beach, 24, wait for life, i can fly, and thunder

her saying the album is angry is interesting cause anger isn't something i feel like she expresses too much in her songs
 
i feel like certain parts of Ultraviolence could be described as "angry"...fucked my way, money power glory...errr....thats kind of it, but i feel like shes showing anger at the media in those. in my feelings, dealer, cinnamon girl....those lyrically show someone pissed off 
 
but generally, i feel like she's often sad but rarely angry, so it could be interesting to hear that

i saw her live last night and it was genuinely the best show ive ever been to. it was just so special and the way she interacts with her fans is truly so magical. if u still have the chance to go see her live, i would highly suggest you do so, its truly a surreal experience. the visuals, the setlist, the outfits, the energy…shes a true performer. hopefully ill see her again soon! 

i'm sorry but i don't think it's wrong that we should overthrow the government. at least it's not for racist reasons like the trumpers were doing it for. like legit i hope someone starts a revolution. clearly they're going after Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell next. once they take those rights away, we're going to be absolutely fucked, as if this isn't fucked up enough. this is just the start

What's next, gay rights? Black voters rights? This has to stop and should have been the straw that broke the camels back but we know it won't because people in the US are pussies and we can't do anything about it while we pay their salaries of over $200k a year. Meanwhile, we have a rapist in the Supreme Court who has just decided against a woman's right to choose to have an abortion. 
 
This is so fucked up. This government does not represent the people anymore and it's clear we need a new system. This country is a fuckhole of corporate greed and religious theologies taking control over other people's rights. Gay rights are next and we're not gonna have any say about it. I fucking hate it here.

Like all of us, I've been wondering why Lana's been referencing all of her previous eras lately, especially posting the Lust for Life trailer and singing God Knows I Tried in the Ultraviolence church. She said LDR9 is conversational and angry. What if she's having a conversation with her previous albums/reflecting on them? Especially the criticism she's gotten over the years, which would explain the angry part. If so, I'd love more songs in the vein of Black Bathing Suit. 
 
I'm probably wrong because she always ends up surprising us. I'm just bored and kinda disappointed we didn't get anything on Tuesday even though I knew we wouldn't.

I saw her this Saturday in Šibenik, Croatia. She was so excited to be performing in her homeland and the venue was an old fortress where we danced under the stars, there were even fireworks!!! Ahhh, it was perfect.
Enjoy the concert, she's amazing live!
