Also I remember those screenshots too, maybe it's time again that someone slides in his DM's again 

I mean Rick's catalog is insane you can't deny that he is a really talented producer with a really successful career 

This is definitely a reach but are we thinking Salvatore pt 2 on this album?

TJF is one of the highlights of COCC, IMO, and I’m not sure he could have brought something else to that song, but who knows. I love both producers: Jack often brought a certain “spark” to their songs, but Rick is better with his piano melodies, plus those romantic arrangements 

I still wonder what rick would have done with tjf.

ben or ed - i forget who - posted a photo celebrating bb’s release with a dragon emoji too…. so i think it’s related to that. no idea why though ?????? but it’s a bb thing i’m pretty sure 

Ben posted W magazine last month and said “music in the works” and now it’s “new music incoming”

insiders seem to know nothing about this album so i feel like it’s the perfect time to surprise release 

Also I'm shook that we know officially no song title & no album title yet. She could have said in the Interview on the first song *title of the song * I pressed play and sang (..) but she didn't 
Idk I really love how this era is going so far, we got teased a bit , got an Interview collapse & new music incoming in the caption by Ben . It's really refreshing not to have fake titles &  fake dates so far & still being left in the unknown mostly. I really hope this era/album roll out will be smooth again but hope is a dangerous thing

Hoping for an album trailer

I don't mind waiting a couple of months while she finishes the album, gets a rollout plan and all that but what annoys me is that we'll have to wait like 3-4 months after it's done just because of the stupid billboard rules 
I guess she'll use the waiting time to start writing the next record or to hopefully start the current era properly. If she spaces things well a 4 month rollout could be nice. She could release the lead single just as she sends the record to the vinyl plants and then use the remaining time to release the MV and a couple of singles 
I just don't want random singles with no follow-up for months 

Imagine if we had a full documentary on the recording process of UV with Dan... 
I need to know what really happened there cause it's the only time Lana worked with a producer for just one record and never went back to him again (not counting Mike and some other random one time producers obviously)

PD - NFR (same sound but better, "stripped back" in comparison and less pop
 
UV - COCC (subtle influences from the previous album gone wild)

honestly having jack involved makes me happy cause with both NFR and COCC there's a level of quality to the instrumentals that's ensured and besides HTD's nasty ass jingle bells all of his production has been fantastic  its obviously not as perfect as daddy Knowles but with BB having been out for a while now in retrospect the duology of NFR and COCC was quite refreshing and while both albums are stripped back he let Lana's vocal melodies and harmonies really shine through for the first time and be the thing leading the song, not the instrumental 

Mike Dean could have been one of the best things happened to Lana but I still remember having second hand embarrassment over fans spamming him to "fix" the ending of WFWF.

If I had to describe what I think this album is going to be using previously-released material, I’d say:
 
1. Arcadia’s orchestral arrangements
meshed with 
2. LA Who Am I to Love You’s dissonance and lyricism 
meets
3. Honeymoon’s mood as a record (contemplative but glamorous)

Something I love about NFR that I hope to see in LDR9 is that—despite it being more stripped back—it contained really unique and easily identifiable production elements that really made you feel like you were escaping into NFR’s little bubble. 
 
For example, the varying electronic elements stitched into songs like FIILY, Venice Bitch, Cinnamon Girl, etc. really made the record feel cohesive without the tracks feeling indistinguishable. Not only that, but I feel that it elevated NFR from being a typical pop-folk record and almost placed the record into a genre of its own. 
 
Even if LDR9 ends up having my least favorite genre influences, I hope the production choices feel very intentional and that the songs won’t suffer from sameness. Hopefully that makes sense lol
 
 

I miss album trailers I almost forgot those existed for her releases we need one of those too its been too long 

Idk, I found it much more enticing when she would tell us about the album and we got no snippets besides an album trailer. It made listening to Ultraviolence and Honeymoon for the first time all the more surprising and wonderfully confusing. 
Maybe it's also because those albums didn't leak so early. 

The NFR snippet era was...something, but I found it more exciting than insider info tbh  If we're gonna get any hints about the album, I want it from the source herself. And usually, that doesn't spoil too much, so I'm actually excited when things happen. It sucked that we didn't get the three singles as the surprise drop they were supposed to be, so I'm hoping this era is quieter on the insider front

i need lana's snippets because. posts a snippet = is proud of the track. period. Last time that we had it was tulsa jesus freak

I'm so greedy for new Lana but I'm grateful I stan her and not an artist that puts out records every 3-4 years and then disappears from the earth until the next album cycle. Lana really spoils us 
I don't think there has been a single year since 2011 when we didn't get at least a new (official) Lana song  (maybe 2016? and probably something leaked that year anyway)
