    Hello,
I evaluated the stream statistics from Spotify to find out which are currently her most popular songs there. To be fair I didn't just take the absolute numbers, but also took into account when the song or album was released (assuming that the song was uploaded to Spotify at that time). So I divided the stream count (in millions) by the number of days since the release date (see rate in parenthesis).
The result is a bit surprising, newer songs especially from NFR have more streams per day than classics from Honeymoon, UV or BTD, but see for yourself:
Don't Call Me Angel (0.3734, Charlie's Angels) Arcadia (0.3158, BB) Chemtrails Over The Country Club (0.2753, COCC) Doin' Time (0.2291, NFR) Young and Beautiful (0.1839, The Great Gatsby) Fuck it I love you (0.1424, NFR) Love (0.1373, LFL) Let Me Love You Like A Woman (0.1367, COCC) Lust For Life (0.1298, LFL) Norman Fucking Rockwell (0.1282, NFR) Cinnamon Girl (0.1256, NFR) Summertime Sadness (0.1253, BTD) Video Games (0.1217, BTD) White Dress (0.1193, COCC) Happiness is a butterfly (0.1141, NFR) Hope is a dangerous thing (0.1089, NFR) Mariners Apartment Complex (0.1062, NFR) Born To Die (0.0983, BTD) Love Song (0.0883, NFR) Tulsa Jesus Freak (0.0870, COCC) Venice Bitch (0.0827, NFR) The greatest (0.0790, NFR) Blue Jeans (0.0777, BTD) High By The Beach (0.0754, Honeymoon) Blue Banisters (0.0746, BB) Cherry (0.0727, LFL) West Coast (0.0716, UV) California (0.0713, NFR) Stargirl Interlude (0.0692, Starboy) Dark But Just A Game (0.0677, COCC) Summer Bummer (0.0670, LFL) Brooklyn Baby (0.0669, UV) Secret Life (0.0667, Take The Sadness Out Of Saturday Night) How to disappear (0.0643, NFR) Hallucinogenics (0.0629) Wild At Heart (0.0625, COCC) National Anthem (0.0587, BTD) Dark Paradise (0.0576, BTD) Ride (0.0575, Paradise) Text Book (0.0554, BB) Yosemite (0.0531, COCC) 13 Beaches (0.0521, LFL) White Mustang (0.0519, LFL) Not All Who Wander Are Lost (0.0500, COCC) Breaking Up Slowly (0.0500, COCC) The Next Best American Record (0.0482, NFR) Wildflower Wildfire (0.0462, BB) Bartender (0.0458, NFR) In My Feelings (0.0447, LFL) Groupie Love (0.0446, LFL) (https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1eKj3qO38IZDJNBjurlEeh)

I think that Spotify overall is growing in popularity, and it is normal that albums get more streams just after the release, so that would explain lower counts for the older albums.

Also, the popularity of songs changes over time. For example, on NFR, Happiness is a buttefly was initially one of the songs with lower stream count, probably because of its place near the end of the album. But while other songs were gradually losing popularity, the number of daily streams of HIAB was staying more or less the same, so in the last year it has been the second most streamed song of the album after Doin' Time.

I don't mind her doing the "Illusion" for the video, but it's unusual that they would even put the stand-in in the same clothes and arm sling to keep up with that. Why would they need to give Lana credits for something she can't do or didn't do? It's normal for artists to have body doubles but I never saw Lana as someone who would do that.

I literally just realized the other day that it was never Lana who was roller-skating in White Dress MV  Never noticed the girls is thinner, her hair different and that every time her face is shown they added a blur effect. All this time I believed she actually broke her arm while doing that on the set.

If you look closely, it's not Lana with the arm sling skating, it's the same "stand-in". She's thinner than Lana was and the still had to blur the face and try to not show it. Idk why but Lana never seemed to have been the skater but she wanted people to believe she was.

She actually did break her arm on the set, which is why she had a stand-in! Professional figure skater Gonna Bogdan stepped in for Lana after she broke her arm to do the main skating scenes, although you can actually see a few scenes with Lana skating while wearing her arm sling x

It was recorded in 2006, but the release date may be marked as 2013 on some platforms because that was when Alice BrightSky released the record that the song was featured on! Lana also performed the song with her back in 2006 as well:

Is track three featuring background vocals from OUR Lizzy Grant? Or is there another Lizzy? It's from 2013 tho ?
Did it sample one of her old songs? What is this

Hello Ultraviolence stans, I just wanna preach for a minute or 2 about Dan Auerbach's/The Black Keys album Turn Blue which was released May 2014 just before UV. Although I don't think many people have connected the two albums, I truly believe there are some good similarities that Dan really brought across to Ultraviolence. It may have been his mood that brought it across as he was going through a divorce, and that mood just happened to work extremely well with what Lana had been writing about.

The fact that it's called Turn Blue, which is a title we could 100% expect from Lana herself, is telling.
    Genre: psychedelic rock, blues rock
Taken from wiki: "The sessions coincided with Auerbach's divorce from his wife, which inspired much of the album's lyrics. The resulting material was more melancholy and slower paced than the uptempo, hook-laden songs from El Camino"
"instead of focusing on radio-friendly singles, they would attempt to make a "headphone record"."
does this not sound like Ultraviolence?
Most of the songs were kind of made up on the spot in the studio, which also reminds me of the way Ultraviolence was recorded with the band and Lana's vocals.
The album also sounds ageless, that old but new sound that Ultraviolence had.

Instrumentally, I hear strong similarities/throwbacks to the Ultraviolence sound throughout the album, particularly in Weight of Love. The minute and a half intro of that song is 100% something I can imagine Dan and Lana playing before going in to record something for UV. In fact the bell-chime sound even reminds me of Angel Tears by Barrie O'Neil, which is a song undoubtedly about Lana, of which all unfolded during the Ultraviolence era. So yeah, if you only listen to one song on this album, let it be Weight of Love.
Bullet in the Brain and Waiting on Words also give me that same mood that Ultraviolence does in that melancholy violence, while pushing extreme freedom.
Also 10 Lovers has that West Coast synth- yes that was Dan's genius move!

I honestly didn't find this album until last year, and I can't help but think that if I had discovered it upon its release in 2014, it would have been the perfect companion to Ultraviolence. I envy anyone who did get to experience it like this!
I also think it's cool how Ultraviolence is like the b&w side of the coin while Turn Blue explores the colourful side, yet they still sound like one.

    I need the vinyl asap.
