really? i'm pretty sure the picture of the instructions she posted before the actual pic said something like "write on one post it note something you want to manifest and on another post it note something you want to let go of for the new year. keep the post it note of what you want to manifest in a safe place and burn the thing you want to let go of". and since lana was burning the note, I took that for meaning that she wants to let go of being a slut

it's interesting that lana posted that her new years resolution was to let go of "being a slut".. it's a central theme of both of the singles so i wonder if she posted that to tease the singles a little or it's just coincidental bc the singles align with her life

Second part was of course very catchy on first listen. But the first part is the most haunting and the most that has to « offer » over time. But my fave part is the junction between the two, very Nine Inch Nails. 

The two songs we have so far combined with the photos and magazine interviews have been so impactful for me I don’t think I can fully express it. I love and support her so much. I appreciate her writing and the poetic way she expresses herself. It is comforting to know someone has these thoughts about themselves. She really is on another level as an artist. The work is simply transcendental.
