I can't get over this song. It's the easiest 10/10 since COCC title track.

Fingertips trending on Genius (currently at #6) with only 3 lines of lyrics is sending me 

Judging other people by their weight is so wrong, even when meant as a compliment.
Everyone has to take care of their own body, and you can do without other people's comments unless you explicitly ask for them.
 

I really think Lana is Jimmy. Antonoff calls her that. It also connects to the second line of American Whore (I haven't seen my mother in a long long time). Someone probably said this to Lana, either as a joke or seriously, and she's quoting them.
Or maybe she's also talking to herself. She talked to her mother on the phone and knew in her mother's eyes she was "fucking up big time". Maybe Lana even agrees.
Anyway, that's how I understand the whole second part.
 
Other than that, this song is so deep and dark. The first half especially. It's not a "slutty revenge bop" but I already know some fans are gonna claim that. To me "It's not about having someone to love me anymore" is not about silencing the haters, it's about loneliness or giving up. Together with "When's it gonna be my turn / Don't forget me" that's such a sad thought.

I know not everyone likes Billie (I don't have a strong opinion either way), but this photo is iconic and symbolic of what recent music owes to Lana.

waking up today gave the exact same feels i get waking up the day after a birthday or christmas.. when there is still this warmth in the air, a sense of an excitement over the memories & whatever new “gift” you get to enjoy  she really did it with this one 
 

Wow. This is actually really exciting to see. She's not one to hype her own material. Seems like she's really proud of this one.

Seeing the acclaim outside of our bubble is so amazing  No one else does it like her, she IS a living legend.

I think A&W was one of the last songs written for the album, because obviously the Cruel Summer like beat is meant to hint that the “singer who still looks like a side piece at 33” is her friend 33 year old Taylor Swift. And the “side piece” is a dig at how Taylor was a “side writer” on SOTB 

The autotune/reverse “Ooh” at 5:12 gives me goosebumps every time
