I have a hot take. Most people dont read in between the lines in lanas songs. shes always been empowered i feel by telling her story, no matter how heart breaking or honest shes been. Its obvious her music has deep emotional, sometimes very dark themes and it does resonate with a lot of damaged people or people very in tune with their emotions. I feel a lot of songs have been her way of coping and she has such artistic and diaristic ability that i feel the general public will always criticize her if they dont care to understand her lyricism. Ultraviolence for example, if you listen to the rest of the lyrics in context of the whole song, you can tell shes talking about the struggle that domestic abuse survivors often have. Feeling attached, feeling as if you need that person to survive even if you know the relationship is unhealthy. What i believe she was saying in qftc was that “shes not not a feminist” in the way that its not what people typically think when they think of feminism, but being being brutally honest about her experiences is what empowers her.

I wonder what is the aesthetic we're getting for LDR9. Even when she doesn't really plan an "era" we get a more or less cohesive look for the album (maybe for BB it was cause she picked everything from the same MV ).
I can't stop thinking about those leaked pictures from an early NFR photoshoot that didn't make any sense at all but I lowkey love them. A random circle, the church (?) background, the silver aluminum dress, the black shades... 
I'd like something really different this time around (even though I'm okay with another photoshoot of Lana just looking classy and beautiful by Neil). I hope she picks up the witchy vibes from LFL but with an album that makes sense sonically this time

she saw all the posts about tp follow up so she cancelled the remix ep and is working on releasing inferno euphoria with the leaked tracklist, we won 

i’m loving this mixtape!! it’s not something i would’ve expected from fka (even though i listened only to magdalene and i still have to check out LP1), but it’s so good and it has such a nice flow 

tbh this is her most "accessible" work so it really much gets more experimental from here

there are two versions, a more ‘studio’ version and the artRAVE interlude (which is a soundboard rip). Gagapedia says:  ‘A version of the song, different from the interlude used on the tour, with 3 minutes and 30 seconds leaked on May 2015.‘

Oh gosh. Deezer, the french spotify is missing half the songs from the album. they are just greyed out and can't be played. Tried on both my computer and my phone, there's something wrong. It so confusing and disapointing.
 
On first half listen, I love the album. That's a very good suprise. Everything is so original like everything Twigs makes. There's some weird stuff but that's what I love about it. plus the carefreeness of the album that I feared is actually what I love about the body of work. It's nice to have lighter stuff by my gild Twigs. The less original song is probably Tears in the club but it has grown so much on me and became my bop of the moment. Can't wait to hear the rest. 
 
I was scared by reading your comments because I was bored of the interludes in Frank Ocean's Blonde and did edit my version of the album so I could really enjoy it. The interludes I've heard so far on Caprisongs don't bother me at all and I think that they really add to the mixtape. They are not long and mostly flow with the music and add to its feeling. 

Her best work yet! And that's saying something. It is reminding me so much of Born to Die, but a new, modern take on those same feelings that are sprinkled throughout the album. To me, she is an amazing role model for women who have gone through traumatic events.

I ignore the pointless interludes and it flows better. Still a few dull tracks, i feel the last
portion of the songs are bland.
 
Honda slaps really hard. Surprised i didn’t like that right away as i love it now.

Oh My Love, Jealousy and Careless have grown on me too.
 
Metal Angel is alright, need more time with it.

honestly think this might be her best project... each song is incredibly unique and infectious and sounds like nothing else that any one is putting out..
