I get that, too, oddly enough. Those two albums feel... heavier than her others? Or have more weight to them? They're also sort of smoky and bluesy.  Whisky, fire, contemplation...   

text book is seriously one of her best songs, for some reason it just CLICKED last night when i listened through the album... it's excellence! 

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels a weird similarity between UV and BB that is hard to explain.

It makes more sense to combine BB and UV tbh

Yes I thought about that too, I wonder if it was intended for COCC because COCC merch had a rose theme and they aligned with the VFR merch leaked earlier.

The only song that reminds me of NFR/COCC is VFR

Here's the deal: Cherry Blossom, Beautiful, VFR, and NOTG would have been appreciated and treated as the true gems they are on COTCC
 
(they have the themes of wild and fame of cotcc, but they are also softer melodies and country-esque)

To *me* it feels like NFR, Chemtrails, and BB are all one very long album lol 

The thought of combining Chemtrails and BB makes me cringe. Two completely different experiences and worlds for me.

A.V. Club gave BB 83 which is a really good note. Chemtrails got 58 and NFR! 75.

I finally finished my "track by track review"(idk if it's even a review lol ) Blue Banisters truly made me write a whole bible so I put it in spoilersThanks to anyone who will read it remember it's just my personal thoughts
