AKA’s arguably one of Lana’s best works. The lyricism, vibes, experimental/grunge sound… she put her whole methussy in this record. When i listen to QOGS i feel like I’m actually inside the song, actually it’s a perfect soundtrack to a roadtrip. We have to gatekeep this one

Hopefully it’s “Yes To Heaven” and not “Say Yes To Heaven”.
Yes To Heaven sounds like a smash. Say Yes To Heaven sounds like a flop.

The other song I’m not vibing with is Kintsugi. It’s so bare bones. I love the lyrics. But I swear I can’t sit still or something I get so bored trying to listen

Literally, who gives a damn about Lorde. Not once in my life did I ever hear anyone mention her and I only know that Royals track from 10 years ago.

I think the otherwise.
NFR and COCC have a connection. NFR first starts out as an ode to LA, but she feels burnout towards the end of the album (The Greatest). COCC is about leaving LA, escapism, going to ranch, finding comfort with friends and families (Dance Till We Die). Between two albums we had Looking for America (in terms of recording time), which connects the two album perfectly.
BB and OB have a connection: BB starts with theme she left at COCC, but then the theme is mostly "I'm this, don't change me" (Arcadia,BBS,Violets and Roses, Beautiful etc.). She explains why she is like this opening up things she had never before (Textbook, WFWF etc.). The album ends with her sister having a baby. Then OB adds to this, she starts with the family theme she left at BB and opens up more about why she is like this (Fingertips).

People were converted by this album? what would they be influenced by on this album? I’m genuinely not trying to be sarcastic- it’s not a new sound, just her trying out how to blend unconventional song structures into her world.
we will see I guess

We need a whole album of A&W’s

Who said that? Maybe if you and the person who liked your post had the mental capacity to understand context and nuances you would know that I was referring to the wildness and experimentation of A&W rather than the sound.
That’s on you you concluded I want an album full of the same songs.
Bye felicia
