I love her visuals, but she's really sacrificing quality for quantity. Some of the last few could've been left on the chopping block, IMO.
 
For instance, I could've done without the videos for Death and Void, knowing what they ended up like, and a lot of K-12. On the other hand, I can't imagine not having MVs for Cry Baby, outside of maybe a few that could've used a bigger budget. Even the scrapped hotel bathtub video for Soap is better than what we've gotten from Portals so far.

just got home, stayed 2 hours after to find her backstage, security was so fucking rude shoving people down with bikes - threatening to arrest and shoot us - one literally suggested to get a shotgun to shoot us - and pretending to shoot a shotgun at us w his hands.
 
screaming at us to go - NO ONE as far as i know met lana tonight but i met alex so GAF um but like it was so rude and disgusting the way the venue security treated us like animals umm never going there again??

got home a lil bit ago and omg i loved it so much  i had such a good time she sounded so good WE GOT FLORIDA KILOSSSS after everyone chanted for it there was like a minute where the stage was dark and she was talking to the band about it and it felt waiting for the election results everyone was so tense  and then her fucking it up so she did the #1timeonlyexclusive piano rendition to make up for it and still fucked up the lyrics  love her. such a different experience from the LATTM tour, when she did cherry it took me right back to learning the choreo before my concert in my room  only issue i had was her putting so many ballads back to back in the beginning like i love bartender and was a defender when NFR dropped but that was such a snooze but everything after cherry was well paced imo i loved it i had such a great time i got the black tee and tote bag and my sister got the hat i didn’t want to make a long post but i kinda am and i could go on for pages about this show lmao mother mother mother mother mother mother mother mother mother…

She said “ I’ll make you a little video to make up for the fact that we are so fucking stupid for not playing you your favorite song” after FK but yeah we are never getting it 😭

it hits different in autumn 

While the official version of Ultraviolence title track is the best version, my personal favorite is the demo version of the song (the one which was made after Melancholia and before the official album version).
 
I became obsessed with this few days ago and I can't stop listening to it, I just adore Dan Heath's orchestra and the demo just soaks beautifully in the dramatic melancholic symphony, especially when she says "I can hear violins, violins", the real violins play so beautifully in the background.
 
Also the bridge is so beautiful too, I love both bridges of the official one and the demo, but in the demo version, her distant whisper voice saying quietly "I'll be your princesa, you give me my white lines" sounds somehow like last words when someone is dying or something like that.
 
And what I especially love about the demo is that it samples the magnificent, absolutely amazing symphonic intro of Blue Jeans music video which gives me shivers.
 
Melancholia is very very gorgeous and heartbreaking lyrically (it has one of her best lyrics, especially the chorus) but the lyrics don't flow well with the orchestral instrumental. I love Dan Auerbach's production in the official version, it feels more gothic but I somehow love the Dan Heath's demo version's production more because of the orchestra. It's really feels like a Paradise version of the song, like his remix of West Coast, really reminds me of Honeymoon aswell. I just adore the overwhelming soft cinematic tragic orchestra in his productions. I neeeeeed Dan Heath's Honeymoon era songs and demos, I really wonder why Lana scrapped all of their stuff from Honeymoon.

I don’t want her to continue the Americana path because it’s "safe". With the resurgence and popularity of her old stuff, it’s about time she tried to go back to her old cinematic sound!

Honeymoon is her best album! 

she means that it is bittersweet –
• “now my life is sweet like cinnamon, like a fucking dream i’m living in” has a sarcastic tone. fame isn’t so sweet for her especially if she’s only loved for being on the radio instead of who she is.
• “cinnamon in my teeth, from your kiss” refers to unhealthy, conflicting love. the song talks about taking pills and being mad, but also about the possibility of being loved and held instead of hurt. 
it’s one of those words/phrases like “blue” or “dripping peaches” that has its own meaning to lana and the abstract world she has created through her music.

i still love the way she sings “feeding off misogyny but still you call yourself a feminstaa” in copy cat so much for no reason…that part lives rent free in my head and pops into my brain randomly 

For the covers album I'm sure shes referring to covers recorded for Pacific Blue and AS&C. Barrie also slipped that she wanted to use Summer Wine so probably even super old covers like that one are in consideration. Makes me wonder if she'll even include Where The Boys Are and the rumored LA Woman covers...Why Don't You Do Right studio manifestation pleek 

Her vision of country has always been different than most. She considers Ride, Video Games and a few other of her popular songs as country-leaning or with country sensibilities.
 
I’m not a huge country fan myself but even her most country songs (namely the ones in Chemtrails) are amazing and done in a very uniquely Lana fashion. I’m not scared of her going Americana/Country at all. It’ll be special.
