Sputnik is a reactionary reviewer. They hate Lana, always have, so they only review her albums to bring down her score.
 
Chemtrails was at an 85 before their 30/100 score sent her to 81. That's why a higher base score is nice to have since the reason they review her is solely to tank her. 

Peppers is for the girls and the gays who unironically have Ice Spice, Ethel Cain, Charli XCX, Azealia Banks, and Lana Del Rey all in one playlist. Some people just won’t get it

Compared to BB and COCC, this has promo to it. There are ads in every social media, posters around the US and Europe, 3 decent-to-amazing photoshoots, her Visionary Award, she’s coming back to doing concerts… there’s something different this time around. Feels like a good middle point between Lana not wanting to play the game while also making herself somehow present. 
 
I honestly don’t think her album trailers do much outside of her fandom and music videos are kind of a dying art form these days… I think they should’ve done something with the Oceanblvd Insta account tho.

I think the Grants is a good single because I think it’s central theme introduces us to a big theme on the album which is family. Hot take but whatever

well it's the 13th her which means there are 10 days left til the album is out cause in my heart im still hoping it wont be a WW release and NZ will save us as always 

why is this era's pre-release season giving so much UV and honeymoon? like.... 
 
honestly even after hearing the leaks, i'm still so fucking hyped to hear this record in full like it's so strange how different it feels compared to lfl, nfr, cocc, and bb. it's a totally different vibe again and feels like we've reverted back to something she only scratched the surface of with honeymoon and uv. also!! i'm bringing this up again. the interview lana gave before the billboard award thing really makes me excited to know this is the finale to the family trilogy. cocc, bb, and ocean blvd all have stuff to do with her family and like... i get it's important to her but we get it. you love your sis and bro, we love it for you! you hate your mom, big mood girlie! but like i'm glad she said she's done writing about that because eventually it was gonna get tired. and lets be real, i got tired of hearing about family and friendsies halfway through cocc  so if we're getting more break up songs or more slutty trap beats or some heavy guitars or funky synths or something weird while she sings about stripping or fucking on the next album? yes i'm here for it.

yeah im really sad about this. the opening of the album is supposed to be experienced on release day (or when the entire album leaks) imo

My guess is Ocean Blvd is a 25 - 30 tracks album and currently only the first 16 have been revealed. Once again, the album is not coming digitally before March 24th because they’ve been doing everything in their power to secure good sales. Two, I highly doubt it’s an unrelated new music because that would detracts from Ocean Blvd since it’s releasing soon and once again they are doing everything to secure good sales. They are not going to waste their time and effort to release the album digitally or announce a completely unrelated project when the current focus is Ocean. The only thing that makes sense to me is them doing something to boost sales not lower it.
 
The lead single is coming this Tuesday with a WW radio premiere. Ocean Blvd full tracklist and 10 new variants will be revealed as well.
 

I actually hope it doesn't leak tomorrow, that'd be so funny. This place will be lit...

this is kind of annoying? Like they are saying they don’t want to ruin the surprise but they already did, we know something is coming. If it’s not coming tonight or next week i hate that we know so early and i hope that isn’t the case!!!
