Still no rolling stone mag. Asking for a refund. It’s been almost two months. I asked for a refund a month ago and they said to keep waiting. I’m tired of waiting. So unprofessional.

Oh man, that's annoying. Could you buy 6 copies to increase your chances? Hahah

The NYT store responded to my email. Sounds like if you order the issue online, the cover you get is random
"The T magazine was featured in the April 23 issue but it is not sold separately. You can purchase a copy of the complete newspaper for that day via the link below which will include the magazine but since there are 6 different covers, we cannot provide a specific cover, the one you receive will be random."
Now I have to decide whether to take a chance by ordering it online and praying that I get the Lana cover
@rosemead ramada where did you get your copy?

1. Paradise - while it's not a perfect release, any album with Ride, Gods & Monsters, Cola, Body Electric is gonna top my list. I wish she had included a few more songs of the era (Y&B etc) to make it a proper album and not just a BTD side-piece.
2. Ultraviolence - Probably her best proper album. No skippable songs.
3. Honeymoon - Although the songwriting might be one notch below UV, the production is probably my favorite of her career.
4. Born to Die - uneven, but the highlights are still some of her best songs.
5. Lust for Life - also very uneven, but with a couple highlights (in my feelings, heroin)
6. Norman Fucking Rockwell - i'm not a fan of how this record sounds over-all, but there's a few highlights for me (fiily, the greatest, title-track)
7. Chemtrails - She was really losing me on this record. A couple highlights, but I haven't gone back to the album since the first month it came out.
8. DYKTTATUOB - Listened to it once and haven't re-listened. It's sad to see my connection with her music dying on the vine.
9. Blue Banisters - Listened once the day it came out, never listened again.

Anyone know why she removed the intro to the music video?

the gold standard of lana performances for me is her itunes festival show
perfection to me
live string band, gorgeous vocals without backing, great set, cute outfit, no half assed dancing, just her creating ATMOSPHERE

"She made special mention of one such individual, Jane Powers. “She’s a real estate agent. I met her seven years ago in New York and I loved her. I really wanted to be a singer. I would say, ‘I don’t know what’s going to happen.’ She’d say, ‘God didn’t save you from drowning just to beat you up on the shore. All you really need is patience when you have persistence.’ She’s just an angel.”

I also wonder if this is all related to Kill Kill, especially because it was originally titled “The Ocean” and she has that line in the demo that goes:
“Fresh from the shore, blond hair is wide
The ocean makes me cry”

I bought it on ebay! I went to Barnes & Noble on Sunday hoping they'd have the Sunday edition but I guess they don't even sell newspapers anymore, or at least my store didn't have any newspapers whatsoever. So I figured ebay would be the only way to get it since it's not for sale by itself. Luckily there was a seller with a dozen copies they were selling for $14 so I snatched one up. Now the only ones for sale are so much more, like $40, really?
I'm glad I have it but she's literally on just the cover and then the one page

Definitely email them! That's how I ended up with 2 UV boxsets in 2014
