sometimes it's not only the title, but the whole song concept I don't like

even if it fits the song, the tile ‘sad girl’ always makes me cringe so much 
god knows i tried - it doesn’t bother me as much and surely fits the song, but it sounds a bit corny
many lust for life titles, mostly because they’re just too goddamn long..
fuck it i love you - sounds more like a phrase than a song title, also quite not a good phrase
happiness is a butterfly - just corny
let me love you like a woman - sounds like some cheap phrase again
did you know there’s a tunnel under ocean blvd - this is surely lana’s worst title.. so fucking long for no reason, the shortcut, ugly capitalising.. could’ve been miles better if it were just “ocean boulevard” or “tunnel under ocean boulevard” 

hot take: gramma (blue ribbon sparkler trailer heaven) is a perfect title
gramma by itself is bad, but BRSTH needs the gramma bow to complete the full package

except Gramma which should’ve just been called Blue Ribbon Sparkler Trailer Heaven

The Next Best American Record - Architecture was robbed
Prom Song (Gone Wrong) - i like the main title, but not the alternate 'gone wrong', sounds like a meme
Are You Ready (Oooh Baby) - don't like the alternate 'oooh baby' either
Cinnamon Girl - in my mind, the title is solely Cinnamon, as originally intended
Stoplight De-Lite - sounds corny af
LA Who Am I - why an incomplete phrase, why
Go Go Dancer - Queen of the Night sounds better
Smarty - don't know why, I've never liked that title

i can't really pick a madonna album as my favorite because she has so many good albums but it's probably the most personally meaningful album of hers to me
tbh my madonna album ranking probably qualifies as an unpopular opinion so let me just post it

ngl they're camp but i usually just edit them into the main song instead of having them as their own track
i honestly think both albums are just ok - they have some excellent songs but they feel madonna by the numbers
confessions is just really good dance pop which she did a lot of before 2005 and often better than some of the weaker confessions tracks, and music is just a weaker version of american life

Yeah Janet and Tinashe are the worst at useless interludes

i dislike interludes, ESPECIALLY when they're not really listenable, maybe artists add them onto albums to tell some sort of story, but i just feel like they're taking up space where another actual song could be, this seems like something tinashe does a lot, it's so stupid, i was listening through "dirt" by alice in chains yesterday, there's some great stuff on that album, but there's this 44-second interlude called "untitled" which doesn't seem to serve any purpose to me, at least "horse latitudes" by the doors has some sort of spoken-word piece but it'd still never listen to it

i love hold the girl by rina sawayama and i think it's her best work
and i've been a fan since rina EP
i didn't even realize this was an unpopular opinion but i guess it is

Thinking about how Boz said Lana really likes California (demo) and mightve wanted to use it still. Its so interesting that the song was about moving to Cali, when from 2 years after the song was recorded she's sang more about leaving the place. I would really love to hear more about how Cali has personally changed Lana, in her own words. I hope the new album illuminates us 
It all seems so bitterweet to me.
