I remember being obsessed with this little video. Lana danced beautifully in it, better than any other real performance. She has great posture and the movements are fluid. I believe she would do well in complex choreography if she invested more.

Can we discuss what the creative proposal for the album to end with VB must have been?

My theory: maybe the song was always dedicated to Lana's teenage boyfriend, Aaron. When Taco Truck transitions to VB, the lines imply that Lana was waking up from a dream with that past in her youth with him, so "Venice Bitch starts in her head" and everything that refers to her boyfriend and her adolescence, such as "incident" at the lake - never die, not tonight, LAKE PLACIIID!

    What is your opinion?

This album is so whimsical that even Neil's rehearsal matches perfectly with the album's proposal.
When the first pictures came out, I thought: seriously, she didn't even leave the room to pose? And now I can't imagine more appropriate pictures. A bedroom, and especially a bed, are personal spaces where each of us feels safe. All the photos sound so intimate. Okay, I'm drooling over her breasts to this day, but the photo is beautiful because of the nudity showing that security/vulnerability that she shows in her songs.
Everything is so perfect here. Seriously, I'm in love with the album.
By the way, does anyone have a link to the whole shoot in HQ?

Coming back here again to share my impressions of the album and it is definitely one of the best and essential of the career. It's so amazing about how sincere she was here. She has this mysterious aura that makes even her closest fans feel ignorant of her private life.
She was extremely brave to share every little thing here, and it's clear that she's sure of what she says, not afraid of what people will think.
Lana deserves to tell her own story and I am grateful to be able to listen.

i think it's a profound statement to think about when u've got this girl to woman singing about her adventures from a place of just being on her own, tryna make her dreams come true alone, all the way to her being able to sing so comfortably about her family.

her start, her response to the media w UV, HM solidifying her perspective/ artist status. LFL's hopes, NFR's taste of direction and devastation. to Chemtrails and BB's healing and this album's liberation. In a way, as fans, and because her music encompasses a lot about life, I like to think that we might've also grown w her thru similar instances.

    “I miss old Lana”

Sweetie, then go listen to old Lana, who is stopping you? The albums still exist, they haven’t vanished.

Literally BTD to NFR is “old skool” Lana. That’s 6 albums worth of music. Some peoples entire careers consists of 6 albums. She has more than enough content for all types of fans.

Kintsugi through to Grandfather is so cohesive, my fav track run. Especially Paris flowing from Fingertips and then into Grandfather. Those sample melodies are stunning back to back. Paris Texas has grown the most for me, at first i didn't like it but after a few listens i finally get it, it's a very enticing track

I am NOT a Jack anti but I really think it is a shame Rick wasn’t brought into help with A&W, Fishtail, and Peppers. Rick Nowels excels with using trap beats and I just know he would have taken those songs to the next level. And if Rick and Jack worked together on Taco Truck- people would gag
