Its a shame cause I consider her very clever and camp with her lyrics plus she even produces her own stuff…
 
would love another Ciega, Sordomuda,  Octavo Día, Objeción Tango, Te Dejó Madrid, Poem to a Horse, Dont Bother, Gitana… Very unique to her style 
 
even when she explored new genres she succeeded like with La Tortura (One Big hit ) or Las de la Intención! 

shakira is waaaaaay too underrated imo. she’s a mastermind for fijación oral, vol. 1 and oral fixation, vol. 2, but all her albums are really good. i adore the aesthetics for the oral fixation eras. she’s just mother!
 

Her last song is really catchy and plays with the whole Pique/Clara Chia scandal. People love nothing more than a woman who has been cheated on get revenge! Here in Spain is getting insane, didnt know she was so camp to put a witch in the balcony for her former mother in law to see!!  her mind 
 
That said, her music since Loba has not been that great, yes she has suceded in staying relevant by making generic reggaeton music with uninspired lyrics… But those songs get forgoten once the hype ends 
 
kinda wish she would write something like Donde están los Ladrones or Pies Descalzos or even Laundry Service, she has the brains for sure… her etnic instrumentals mixed with rock or even ska and clever lyrics where one of a kind

tbh I despise the new song BUT I'm glad she released it because of its meaning and well, it's a hit, so good for her! But I truly don't like it

it's time to raise your standards
personally i'd say 40-65 is approx. middle aged considering that a lot of people live past 75 now and that 65 is the generally accepted "senior" starting age

it’s really sad because marina is such a good artist but nothing she’s released has done it for me in 8 years, besides Purge the Poison and Man’s World which are a fun listen sometimes. something unfortunate shifted when she dropped The Diamonds

She’s not that likeable and comes off as fake to me, don’t know why 
 
Also her music since she got signed to a record label has been all over the place. Its like she cant stick to a theme, first Malibu, the french euro dance with TFSN (unpopular opinion but I Dont mind It being longer), to cocnuts again and then Unholy and IJWAR… 0 cohesion And punch so people end up losing interest! Not to mention her twitter fights and the Dr Luke fiasco 
 
she had some Clarity moments (pun intented) with Icy and TOTL but that hype will die soon if she doesnt put her sht together
 
I think she should have continued with the reagge tropical sound she was going for in Lenfant Terrible, Choker, Break the AC and Painkillas!! Those are some of her best 

While I see where you're coming from (the singles as a bunch have zero connection between them except for maybe the first three), the Problématique album was is very cohesive and solid in my opinion. The Future Starts Now, Problématique, All She Wants, Born Again, Confession, Revelations, Hit It From the Back, Your Time to Cry, Je T'adore, etc.... I think it really had the potential.
However, that messy rollout was not helping, and so didn't her support for Puke wbk.
I guess if Problématique had happened as an era with a proper rollout and promotion, Unholy would've still happened (it was Sam's song after all) but not If Jesus Was a Rockstar and Brrr, or at least not right now.
I'm still waiting for Problématique to be unscrapped but that's to dream a lot.

Oh, Phoenix was a really good album. imo some standard tracks should've been tossed out in favour of the deluxe tracks, all 4 are great. Also there are some great outtakes. Girls didn't need to exist but the rest of the album is pretty good. Still in rotation for me, and can't wait for her next one. Hopefully this year.

I relistened to her album and Its better than what I remembered, nothing groundbreaking but good production and nice strong melodies (if we dont take that Girls fiasco into consideration). Also the deluxe tracks are surprisingly good, the Hell of a Life run until Soul Survivor flows really well 
 
Somehow I can see Jessie J or Sam Smith singing these along with I Want Love and Diamonds 

It’s a shame what happened to her, another great example of how record companies fuck up the most out of the box artist… she had so much potencial And no other was doing It like her… if only she sticked to that gypsy style that was so unique to her. Just like Porcelain Black, Natalia Kills, Kerli, Sky Ferrera, Bonnie McKee and many others who didnt have the chance to release proper material And then proceed to live in the shadow of what they could have been… lets hope she goes back in track, that last EP (Light Touch) was great!! 

In the Zone is a good album for what is worth and Breathe On Me and Touch of my Hand sound like they belong in Kylies Fever album, such great dance songs 

Stripped is a masterpiece and doesnt get old, from the Music vídeos, to the singles And deep cuts… Very atmospheric and reflective of its time! what a mastermind she had, Its understable how she didnt Keep up with that after she outdid herself so early in her career. Like I would change nothing flaws and all, and thats very unusual

Back to Basics is good too but maybe too long (I know thats her thing, but It could be better with some filler songs cut). 
 
After Bionic Its very clear to me she lost interest and proceeded to rely in her legacy (that Las Vegas residency really is popstar cementery ). 

Sorry, she seems really nice but her music since Revival (and even then with the exception of the singles) sounds bland, generic and with no soul. She neither has an amazing voice or stage presence to make up for that so… the last EP in spanish was another try to capitalize on latin music And now the beauty line… I Don’t know… Also she has dragged the JB topic way too much It gets old! 
 
I see her more like an actor for real, she has a cute personality… but whatching her have that much success in music when she isnt that good is painfull 

I have the Stripped album which is pretty good and I have a lot of respect for her, she's got a phenomenal voice and her songwriting's good. However, she's just one of those artists who I want to get into but never really have been able to, unfortunatly.

Also, 40 million views in just 19 hours is pretty impressive huh? 

Her most memorable projects remain being Pop2 and N1Angel for me… Crash was a little lackluster with the exception of Sorry If I Hurt You which is a BOP And a half… And that was only included to a bonus track, thats insane! if she follows that direction I will be pleasantly surprised, she has lots of potencial 
 
Also can we leave de 2 minute long songs in 2022? I know Its all about the streams, but Its getting tired already, and I feel like It takes out of the cuality of the songs (they are cuting short intros, bridges and autros that can elevate de sound) but thats me personally

Chromatica falls flat And with no soul (she hasnt been the same since ARTPOP) with boring lyrics and a super basic production (gays nowadays will eat up anything suitable for the dance floor and forget about It in a month). Feels like she has no flavour left in her and all she does is make songs with current popular artist for a cashgrab… such a shame cause she used ti be one of the most shocking and unique artist out there… now she cares more about make up I fear
 
In general music is lacking any sense of being memorable on the long run. Songs no longer than 2 minutes and multiple samples

Dramatic and Tommy were def my favorite of these tracks but I do agree w some people here that, sometimes these songs are giving that Ava Max / Kim Petras vibe (RH especially!!). I know theres great songs on this album overall so I'm not going to be negative at this point. Theres a few tracks on all of her albums so far that I havent liked as much as the others but overall the package is always good with her.
 
 
Wasn't Butterflies supposed to be the intro to Rainbow Road or am I wrong?
And I see what you're doing with the tracklist but I like the original being more of the adventure out of hell into heaven vibe and this kind of scrambles that. But if theres any songs unreleased I want her to full leak or release its Dangerous and Sunshine. And I think Inferno Euphoria would be better as the remix at the end.

Am I the only one who doesn’t enjoy American Life that much with the exception of Hollywood (what a BOP)…
 
I think she has better sounding political songs like History (Land of the Free)
