Found this cute phone case on Amazon. It’s more for the aesthetic, as the case feels really cheap. Still fun, though. I’ll probably use it when I’m going out or hopefully seeing her in concert again sometime soon.

This was tough. I took some time to go back and reflect. Here’s what I came to with:
 
1. Ultraviolence
2. Honeymoon
3. Born to Die / Paradise*
4. NFR!
5. Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd
6. Chemtrails over the Country Club
7. Lust for Life
8. Blue Banisters
 

The shift in titles from one full sentence to a single word is symbolic of her creative shift. From the production of tracks like A&W and Taco Truck x VB to simpler, folksy, country songs. 
 
Now we know why her last tour was around the Bible Belt and why she was spending so much time in Tennessee. 

Assuming she doesn’t go full out country (I bet it’s more of a hybrid genre album, that mixes in ballads, Americana, folk and maybe even a few covers), this really isn’t a huge shift for her. 
 
Creatively, it allows her to focus in. Ocean Blvd was all over the place, not in a bad way, but here are can channel her voice into a more specific direction.
 
When I think of recent records like Chemtrails and Banisters, she was starting to go in this direction. Several of those songs had a folksy, bluesy feel. Ocean Blvd didn’t necessarily expand upon that much, but some of the tracks had folksy moments. 
 
Basically, if she goes “country,” but with songs that feel like White Dress, Violets for Roses or Paris, Texas, I can totally live with that. I find a hard time believing she’s going to take a hardcore turn into some deep country $hit.
