Yeah, I think it kinda works in Kintsugi for the same reason it works in BPBP but it just sounds horrible in Fishtail.

One of the things I respect most about Lana is that she's not interested in maximizing her fame or success. It's really about the art for her. I get being frustrated you're not getting as much content though. Just for me, if she started behaving like "normal" celebrities, I'd probably be excited at first (more content) but turned off eventually.

The way this has fully become my favorite Lana album. Like imagine not loving an album that has A&W on it
This is also maybe my favorite era as well, just such a return to classic Lana after two very troublesome years to be a Lana stan

too lazy? she did a whole festival tour to promote the album, she was in the Sunday Times and on the cover of Harper's Bazaar. I think she's really done a lot this year.

The only (released) Lana lyric I really dislike is
Maybe I'll take my glasses off
So I stop painting red flags green
It's just ... the execution and way she sings it just makes it worse for me. Even worse, I love the two lines directly after and all the other lines in the song
Feels like of sacrilegious to say I dislike anything Lana writes to be honest because I honestly believe she's one of the most songwriters of our age

Yeah I don’t think people realize how successful this album has been. I remember when UV and NFR started doing more daily streams everyone was quick to call it a flop but NFR and UV took years to build up to those numbers, Ocean Blvd has been so consistent since release, more than NFR was ~7 months after release.
In the end, It’ll probably end up being
1. BTD
2. NFR/UV (these two are neck and neck)
3. NFR/UV
4. Ocean Blvd

that horse photoshoot was probably for the album cover, i honestly wouldn’t mind if they made an album together, i saw a lot of people in the replies complaining but i’m really excited to see what they made, Breaking Up Slowly was one of the few COTCC songs that I actually liked on my first listen, the other songs had to grow on me
Prettiest Girl In Country Music is good too so i would rlly like a studio version
Imagine if they drop the album and everyone loves it after all the “get Nikki away from her” comments
