yes can we please get a full lyric booklet this time

I'm a super visual person and I really want to think of the colours of the album because it's one of the most important things for me (especially since Lana says she's synesthetic I think, or at least she thinks of songs in colours), it can really shape an album and my vision of it, but it's really too soon I agree with Young And In Love having tones of orange and lavender, basically I'm thinking pale, summery colours for now, not too happy not too sad. For me Born To Die was sky blue and white, Ultraviolence was black and white, Honeymoon was dark blue ( ) and red, and I have a weird hunch that LDR5 will have some kind of the same colours as Honeymoon but much paler and toned down idk. Also if it's reminiscent of the 5 untouchable, when I listened to them the first time I immediately had a gold colour in mind, it probably means nothing but I'm curious to see if she thought about the colours of the songs.

Also it pisses me off when people do the "before and after" comparison photos for plastic surgery and they use photos that aren't even in the same angle or use a candid and then a heavily edited picture from a photoshoot.

I'm kind of excited for the Mad Hatter video but at the same time I feel like she might overdo the "I'M CRAZY" mindset, I understand it's apart of the character and it's supposed to be exaggerated but like yikes (looking at the perfume milk commercial and alphabet boy). It just seems super tryhard sometimes, i guess and I don't see the point of it being used as often as it is which is probably why I dislike it sometimes. 
I do hope that she goes down the American Mcgee Alice route if she wants to make it creepy, I think it could really work.

The endings of OTTR, Blue Velvet, and Lucky Ones are so beautiful. Even the orchestral instrumental of Ride..

Ok but Lana and her team have never had any type of release strategies lmao why do ya'll think they will this time around. It wouldn't be smart to release as the same time as Lorde or even Ratsley (I can't believe she's really part of LDR's competition now ) but I guess she won't really care
 
Side Note: remember when Lana was the only mainstream alternative girlie around and was almost on the same lever as Gaga, Katy etc.

Ooo, Marina posted kind of a cryptic post on instagram. Following two other Neon Nature tour throwbacks, she posted the photo below captioned "1 day I'll write you a letter and I'll tell you everything."

I wonder what it could mean! I can't help but feel nostalgic by this post of her haunting yet intriguingly gorgeous tumblr posts she used to make back in the day of Electra Heart. The way the photo is filtered and the mysteriousness of the caption.. so evocative. I miss Electra dearly, she means a lot to me -- and I don't think I've ever related to someone more that I did her.. except for miss Holly Golightly. I'll be looking at this post for days wondering what it means while soaking up the Electra throwbacks it gives... A girl can dream.

I actually love her covers as well, she's always able to add her own essence to it (blue velvet, the other woman, etc.) 

Why are most people against Lana covering songs? I get that yall want something completely original from her but don't you trust her to make an amazing cover? Personally, I really hope she covers a song on her next album. She sounds SO good singing Nirvana's 'Heart Shaped Box' live so it'll be nice to hear a studio version of that.

What I am basically trying to say is that BTD and even UV transported me with the lyrics somewhere else. I could close my eyes and see the setting of the song right in front of me. While UV also kinda lacked when it comes to choruses, it had really well-written verses (mostly) and the production was awesome.
 
With HM it just all fell apart. Barely anything striked me. There were good songs on it for sure, but there was also too much filler. 

A label controlling an artist? Oh wow. So unheard of.
