omg i was thinking the same thing when i first listened…it’s very act 2, when the main character is finally beginning to figure out the resolution to their main conflict 
 
then the interlude plays as they realize what they have to do and they go take down the antagonist/resolve the conflict

if she doesnt use that as her intro the next time she performs at a festival girlie is dumb

with a month and a half left before the album drops, does anyone think we'll get another single??

Nah, hold on. I said the beginning of Arcadia was different from the MV version, right? Well, the streaming services’ version also has more instrumentation 

my favorite part of the arcadia video is at 3:38 when she accidentally mouths america instead of arcadia but tries to hide it with her hands and looks around like "did anyone notice that" LMAO

Idk why every time I see “black bathing suit” it makes me think of that video of her trying on all the hats  

I guess at least most of it cause we got like almost a min and a half and that's pretty standard interlude lenght (Burnt Norton was 1:21). The fade out was a little abrupt so maybe they cut off a couple of seconds (or it blends with Black Bathing Suit and they didn't want to spoil that )
