Not sure if y’all are referencing someone else’s post but I never said that modern rap is bad  There are lots of great rap artists right now like Noname, JPEGMAFIA, Rich Brian, Brockhampton, Earl Sweatshirt, etc. I said that I dislike a lot of the most popular rap songs by artists like DaBaby and Kodak Black. Rap is a great genre but like most things, the most popular incarnations of it are not always the best ones.

Thanks to everyone else who helped! I look forward to exploring more of Bjork’s music, and I’m open to recommendations if anyone’s willing to share!

    Bjork repeating the same sentence...
"Sue me ! sue me ! sue me !"  came in mind but that's definitly not what you've been vibing to.
The reason you don't remember it is probably your mind telling you that you need to hear all of her amazing  work while scanning for it

Was it upbeat? a ballad? strings? volcano beats? acapella? 90s lounge jazz? avant garde? snowy micro beats? I wanna help you out, I love when things like this happens lol

Oh my god! I've had the most frustrating experience today trying to find a song. I was in a shop and they were playing a song by Bjork - could easily recognize her voice but I'm not familiar with her work sadly. She kept repeating a phrase over and over again and I told myself I'd remember it and look it up later, but I've forgotten it already . Trying to find the song, I kept coming across other songs from her, and I've come to realize all her songs seem to be incredible. Still haven't found the song I was looking for, but I feel like I just discovered a secret and I'm mesmerized by Bjork's work.

it's sad bc this album was already expected to be liked less than NFR by Lana, she already knew. could be why we got BB so soon after. i still love it though, the run from TJF to NAWHAL is one of the best I've heard in a long time. I love all of those songs. specifically wild at heart and dark but just a game. the guitar on dark but just a game just fuck up my ears so much, it's so good. fucking ear candy. listen to the instrumental on high volume or good speakers

i wanna make a playlist at some point with the songs from NFR, COCC, and BB in a certain order than makes a lot of sense

my opinion on lana and politics is very... complicated. on one hand, im very firm in my beliefs (especially in my opinions on cops, BLM, etc.) on the other hand, I've dedicated a lot of time to Lana. she's truly my muse in more ways than one. she's the reason I'm so interested in pursuing music and the reason i started writing. her music has helped me through a lot. i don't want to lose her over political stuff, but "political stuff" is more important to me than music. i guess idk. being a Lana stan in 2020 is difficult.

When I think about lost potential, my mind goes to:

Freak: muffled vocals, awful drowned bass. Rick Nowels and Kieron can’t produce a trap inspired record for their life.

Tulsa Jesus Freak: I love the song but it could have been a 10/10 for me if it had bass, it needed that extra punch.

Sad Girl: I’ve come to love this song but I think it would have been a staple Lana song if the chorus was different because the production is really stellar.

I've always wished The greatest had a longer outro, maybe the piano slowly ending and exploding with guitars again
