We got an album with a bunch of recycled songs (BB) and that's fine. She can drop all the good unreleased one day when she's short of cash. We're not there yet.

Rick's website had a section that was theoretically not publicly accessible, which he used as a server for file storage. Basically all the final cuts of songs he'd done work on, going back 5-ish years were uploaded there. There was a song player on the public-facing portion of his website which streamed songs from that server, so people just followed the URL from the files in the player and ended up on the "private" section of his website. There was no password protecting the server itself. He did eventually individually password protect some of the files there (all the Lana and Lykke Li tracks he'd uploaded), but the damage was already done, as people had been watching the site for months before he put the passwords on. He also only had "Black Beauty" posted for a few days before removing it, so he clearly knew people had access.
 
Someone eventually posted a link to the server publicly and all 5 songs were leaked, in short order.
 
There's also other random tidbits, like the fact that "I Don't Wanna Go" was under the heading "Black Leather Moonlight" in his files and the file itself was labeled "Tonight", which is where we learned about both of those alt titles for it. Tons of other artists' work was there too, completely free to download if you had access. No passwords on anything but Lana and Lykke Li files.

genuinely one of the best songs from L+F era. iirc, wasn’t it like, the defining song for her when writing the album??
 
pretty sure the only reason it didn’t get released was bc inbetween the time of writing it and the release of the album, the co-writer had some SA allegations come out

agree with the sentiments of most people tbh. she has become so disingenuous and i struggle to gel with anything post l+f. it’s such a shame because froot is one of my top 3 favourite albums of all time and she used to be such an interesting artist. merna what happened (l.a. happened) 
 
a writer who writes very cringeworthy 'poetry' with a focus on being aesthetic rather than writing emotional or worthwhile outputs. see: milk & honey. basically, now used as a general term for disingenuous poetry that is purely for monetary gain as opposed to trying to evoke thoughts and feelings out of the reader

Makes me so sad looking at all these old videos where she looks so happy and confident and her star was rising and she was clearly fatter, and then all of her shittiest fans and every troll on the internet harassed her about her body until she lost weight. And we know Dr Luke told Kesha to lose weight and claimed the reason she wasn't getting songs was that she was too fat. What a horrible energy for a young trans woman to be around. I hope she's okay and not interpreting her lack of success as a reflection on her looks, her talent, or her worth as a person.

No. All the leaks we want are dead songs from 2020 and prior tbh, and to the people that think she will ever release something officially  (LOL!!) do we really think she would give us songs from 2015-2020? If we waited this long I'd expect it to be new material. She is a talented song writer I'm sure she has written newer stuff for an official release, if that ever happens. 

She should have released White Dior that would've been a hit. Especially for the tiktok trends.

She definitely gave up, won't release anything anymore. All this talk about 'can't leak because she's going to release' is just selfish people trying to keep the songs to themselves

All she does is release songs as soundtracks and her latest hit as a songwriter was like 7-8 years ago…

the only difference is now we don’t have all these wannabes stirring the pot. The quiet is 100% more enjoyable than being trolled

same thing happened with reputation on Taylor swifts Spotify, I think it’s just being glitchy asf this week

it's kind of crazy she teased 12 songs on the notebooks and that brat diary page but we currently have 11 brat session songs not on the list at all
