He said the visuals were great... which lbr is the reason Born to Die stood out so much as her debut. So I think she'll be fine. Have SOME faith in the woman, damn. Like of all the unreleased we have, everyone knows she's fully capable of switching things up in a distinct way. Idk I'm rambling

I can feel how the excitement of this era will drop to 0 when she drops the lead single.. honestly ppl already say her music is boring when Lana fans say something is bland it has to be super bland for everybody else too. So she's neither gonna impress fans nor potential new fans this era? Truly iconic. Maybe some enya fans will jump on the Lana wagon tho.

Everyone always sh!ts on her title tracks.. they're usually in my Top 3 faves of the album.

i'm actually excited that the lyrics are something new,
for me lyrics are one of the most important parts of a song, especially lanas, that's why i loved gods and monsters so much..

I'm glad this music video is apparently amazing though, especially after the lacklustre recycled visuals of the HM era

I had a dream last night the new album was hip hop/rap and it was out of control amazing and we all lost our minds.
 
Obviously this would never happen but wow it sounded cool in my dream world.
 
 
The fact that I am now literally dreaming about the new album really says something haha

Tbh I don't think it's even a problem if she works with Rick... she's been doing that since like forever and so many great songs have come out from sessions with him... West Coast, TV in Black & White, Shades of Cool, Is This Happiness, Summertime Sadness, Young & Beautiful, Cola. Personally I'm fine if she keeps working with him as long as other people are brought into the mix as well! Honeymoon is a lovely album but we've had it once and we don't want it again, and if she works with ONLY Rick again then it's just going to be HM 2.0.
 
I'm confident though that with the right mix of producers she will create an amazing album. At this point we know that Lana can write good songs. What really defines the album is the production and hopefully she's aware of this and has chosen a good assortment of people to create a new, fresh sound!
