I feel like people's gonna complain no matter what they do. Release it too early and people will be sad they listened to the opener, release it too close to the album and people will wait another week before listening to it to get the full experience.

honestly it makes sense, the buzz around a song dies only a few days after its release. a one week prior single release is better than if she released it on feb 26th tbh in terms of building up hype, at least we'll just have to wait one week
