Why is everyone worried so much about this whole country thing? Country Club in title of the album is this:https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Country_club, and definitely not a club where they play country music, periodt. Even when it is, we could construe this as- Chemtrails (toxicity in relationships Lana had) over the Country Club (a place, where older men usually go and drink etc.) ? her mind!

Well, she hinted that the sound of Chemtrails is in part folk and with some country elements (at least at the beginning of writing it) in that new interview. Anyways, her country won’t be totally country if it’s the case. Wait For Life and Fine China, to me, sound country-ish and we’re nowhere near real country.

“With Chemtrails it was like, “Is this new folk?”, “Oh god, are we going country?”. Now that it’s done I feel really good about it, and I think a defining moment for this album will be ‘White Dress / Waitress’.

if its country imma cry

She basically said she felt stressed out making this album because with Norman she instantly knew what she was going for but with this album she asked herself: ''Is this newfolk? Oh God, are we going country?'' But now she's happy with it

Edit: Oh well I wasn't quick enough

Oh God. I hope that her ability to describe the sound of the album still doesn’t work because......:omg:

So the vibe is Lana’s private country club containing only her circle of friends and family, living in their own lifestyle. Chemtrails must portray the align of America both metaphorical and literal about trying to create a certain mindset to all the culture (sprayed conspiracy) and that comes in comparison with they way of life of the country clubbers live in their secret cult.

I know right. It feels a lot like how she talked about LFL in one interview where she was like “I don’t know what the album is, you’re going to have to figure that out yourself” - ma’am you said “People love visions” I want a vision give us a vision don’t give us a LFL situation I’m going to have a break down , well I will call her and tell her I’m having a break down because of you since in the interview she said that’s her thing now

Honestly I don’t get why people hate country so much? I mean if it’s country pop like that cringey Luke Bryan then I can understand people’s dissatisfaction, but country/folk can be pretty damn good

Exactly.
plus there are already songs in her discography that feel “country-ish”: Fine China (for the lyrics and a bit of the melody), and Wait for Life’s opening notes are very much country and everyone lives that track.

Lana is always gorgeous but I think this is the best she has looked since Honeymoon/the LFL promo pictures by Neil

This. That shot beside the car and the one on the bed. Literal perfection and i thoroughly enjoyed the interview
