Lana has called Chuck "Chicken" as a nickname so I'm assuming she is saying chicken as in Chuck, especially since she mentions her the line before x

This song feels like a progression from White Dress + Chemtrails (title track). A deeper dive, more transparently into the present, sort of stream-of-consciousness, heartbreaking and sweet at the same time. I wonder if this will be Track 1 on the new album.

I’m in tears… I just went through the experience of having to let someone I loved dearly go and listening to Blue Banisters really gives me comfort but pain in some odd way. Lanas vulnerability in the chorus is so haunting and beautiful, it gives you hope almost for anybody who’s gotten away from you.
