I have a similar issue, I can't log in on my computer. Deleted all the cookies, cache, even deleted and installed the browser again and nothing

I actually really disagree re: NOTG. Melodically it’s really cute and quickly catchy but the lyricism is really subpar when compared with the triple singles + Arcadia + BBS + VFR + SC, etc.

 

Actually that’s my biggest issue with this album and the reason it isn’t gelling immediately for me like her previous albums did: there’s a clear discrepancy between the outtakes and the rest of the album, lyrically speaking - and it’s kinda off putting. In 1/2 of the album she’s doing sung poetry with experimental production (by her standards) and in the outtakes it feels like 2013/2014 Lana all over again and it doesn’t make any sense.

 

I really like BB and I think it’ll be a huge grower but it’s far from being her most consistent, congruent work. Even Chemtrails was more cohesive lyrically speaking.

Ok i think it’s her second worst record, still very good but yeah. TB, BB & WW are career highlights and i wish she wrote entire album with that type of sound, growth and maturity. It sucks that she decided to add then next to tracks like Living Legend or Nectar Of The Gods. You can clearly tell that certain tracks are old Lana and i kinda hate that. It doesn’t feel cohesive. This almost feels like a mush up/compilation of 2 possible albums - old lana with her “fucking crazy” attitude tortured and boy crazy & current lana that’s calmer grown up and reflective. also much more poetic and lyrical.

4. Thunder - Official Version (the original demo would rank higher)

5. Sweet Carolina (one of her best melody arrangements ever tbh!)

6. Blue Banisters (perfection)

7. Violets For Roses (huge huge grower; love it more and more with each listen)

8. If You Lie Down With Me (amazing outro)

9. Text Book (the BLM line remains off-putting)

10. Beautiful (the lyricism is too inconsistent)

11. Living Legend (would be ranked higher with a richer production but that guitar-voice effect is breathtaking)

12. Arcadia (it’s growing tho)

13. Cherry Blossom (never truly loved this song)

 14. Nectar of The Gods (useless in this tracklist)

Thunder would make an amazing closer/fan-greeting song, although who knows if she'll even do that part of her show anymore given the pandemic.

 

I would also really love to hear IYLDWM, but something tells me she probably wouldn't do any of the older stuff/stuff she wrote pre-2015 (NOTG, CB, LL). Hopefully IYLDWM could be different as it didn't leak?
