In my dream last night I won some contest to visit Jack Antonoff's studio and he gave me a tour and talked about how cool Lana was and then I asked him if he'd play me one song from the album so he played me one without revealing which track it was, and the first lyric was something like "burn you with the touch of my tongue" and the song had a very surf-rock vibe. It was sooo good and I was so excited to be in my insider era and come tell you guys about the song, but then I woke up

Its always so interesting seeing which snippets Lana decides to share before the album and why she chooses those songs in particular...

 

Like with NFR we had a bunch but you could tell she was sharing her singing along to them because she was very excited about the songs 

 

With Chemtrails she shared TJF first, and we did get a preview of the title track with the promo

 

BB we got a teaser with a snippet of the title track and later on a snippet of Arcadia

 

And now we have Candy Necklace and perhaps we'll get another snippet before the release

You know if she told us a single was coming in mid Feb for example, we'd spend every day until then whining about radio silence and begging Kintsugi to spill deets about the song.

Then after it's out, we'd be in the same situation waiting for the album.

And then once the album comes out it's only a few days before she goes back to complete silence, so we're in this perpetual state...

Like Lana isn't Dua Liper, she's not gonna go perform on Germany's Got Talent or whatever. Best we could get is another magazine interview and maybe a BBC Live session, that's it.

So we best get used to it (as if we havent already)

If Lana releases A&W on Feb. 3rd... There would only be 7 weeks left till the album release. 

That means I'd have to listen to only 1min of the song per week (1min first week, 2mins second week, etc) to keep it fresh and have new content until March 24th!
