I hate when people complain about songs sounding like they belong to different albums. Like often times that's because they are lol, but even if they're completely new material it would make sense that an artist makes music that sounds like the rest of their music

so far, taco truck does sound somewhat like tulsa jesus freak, and in my opinion kind of like cinnamon girl, but i don't think that's a bad thing. that's just the kind of music she's been making for a few years now. also, we've heard 45 seconds of a song that's almost 6 minutes. we know she samples venice bitch in it, but let's be fr, it was never going to be "venice bitch 2" in the same way a&w is not "NFR 2" just because it sampled it.

The same way I wouldn't say a piano ballad sounds like Ultraviolence just because of Old Money I wouldn't say a Taco Truck sounds like Chemtrails because it might sound like TJF.

 

We don't even know yet how the instrumental will sound like exactly, the snippet seems intentionally filtered or edited.

 

It sounds like a fun upbeat song which I personally don't associate with Chemtrails.
