As much as I hate it, IMHO Miley's Flowers is a really strong contender for SOTY, being the most streamed song on Spotify and the non-country song with the most weeks on Billboard this year. It was all people talked about and was on the radio all the time for the first half of the year. She does have the advantage of the song coming out basically at the start of the year though.

she has a VERY HIGH chance of winning the alternative categories though, and i hope, with this album being probably her most alternative leaning ever, that her team and/or the grammys submit it in these categories and not pop

She won't win though. The competition is far too tough. I think SZA is most likely going to win.
