They take their info from people who feed them. Sometimes, they are 💯 accurate (infos about Billie and Taylor tend to check out) but sometimes not so much, depending who they’ve spoken to. 
I follow them and love to read what’s coming but I can’t say they are the most reliable when it comes to Lana: she now keeps her cards close to her chest (except when she blurts out an album name and release date at an event ) and nobody seems to know what’s happening behind closed doors anymore.

I’m also fairly certain they made this tweet following Fenway.. in which case they heard the intro and they heard tough. So, it’s hardly a new thought.. it’s just a safe bet 

 

they’re probably worried now that tough is a quavo song, but they’ll still give it a green tick because they were vague saying “upcoming material” and not upcoming record

I wanted an album this year (it may still happen) but I don't mind waiting more if that means a new non-country sound I'm sorry 

 

I love all three teased songs but if the album sounds like the new intro I can wait a whole year. I NEED those cinematic drums back. Trap beats and yeehaaw guitars can go

guys, i dont think we're getting lasso this year. There's just no reason to move at all.

 

all we have is the speech where she announced it, but that was before she said "i have no idea where lasso is going now"

 

i think we should be happy we're getting Tough this year and celebrate that. Hopefully it's a hit too
