Now that Tough is released, this is what I think --

 

If this is a stand-alone single or a single for Quavo's album (if he's planning one), I feel like this is just a little step forward Lana's upcoming new sonic direction which is country-influenced music. I don't believe at all that Lasso (or whatever album she's putting out) will be trap-infused. Kind of like Country Roads, I felt it was just a preview of what's to come in terms of sound.

 

I also want to add that after a few days I can safely say that I don't like Tough, so this theory is very influenced by that lol.

Yes. And i hope that we get a tough inspired Sound on lasso. Tough and another quavo collab on lasso would be a dream. I don't know but since she teasers mirror and the release of tough i can't believe she goes full country. Perhaps sometimes a country influence. But i think more country than she gave on tough we won't get from her. And that are good news
