tbh the louisiana aesthetic FUCKS. I actually think it's so cool that it's one of the places I dream of visiting - even though yes, I know, I'm saying about dreaming of visiting the US. But just picture it... A photoshoot in those big ball dresses... The antebellum aesthetic...

people grow and change. she wanted to be famous and went to california chasing it. she's now changed and found a new path somewhere else, which makes sense for her since she's toured for so long. outside of nola, louisiana isn't a hot place to tour

She has to live 6 months out of the year in Louisiana to be able to file taxes there.

In terms of taxes this wouldn’t make much sense because Louisiana still has income and sales tax. There’s other states that have no income tax including Texas, Florida, Nevada, Tennessee, Alaska, Washington, South Dakota, and Wyoming which would make the most sense. Louisiana does have lower income and property tax compared to other states, but I’d imagine there would be more beneficial places to move to taxes wise
