Honeymoonwitch 2,274 Posted 11 hours ago If the May date is fake yet again will this be the first time Lana has lied about the album date two times ? I know she’s giving us fake dates before but not multiple times during a new album cycle.

No. Chemtrails “out Sep 5th”, then at her book signing in October she said it would be out in dec/jan. rock candy sweet June 1st then July 4th. Sadly this is the new normal with her. 9 Quote "Don’t forget me"

And, honestly, after two pretty heavy albums back to back, we need that.

barttttender 5,879 Posted 7 hours ago We had three singles before OB album was released on March 24, 2023. OB: Dec 7, 2022 AW; Feb 14, 2023 The Grants: March 14 2023 By that logic, if TRPWS is indeed coming out May 21st, we shoulda gotten the first single late January. How can we be mid-March with not a single single out? If she drops the first single in April, does that mean that the actual album will be coming out in August instead? Also (completely out of boredom), asked ChatGPT to calculate how many days between each album. And soon, TRPWS will be number 1 in terms of waiting around for it. I'm sure it's been calculated before, but good to remind ourselves (not like like we've got anything else to do). Got it! Let’s calculate the number of days between each of Lana Del Rey’s album releases and then rank them by the longest to shortest gaps. Here's the breakdown: Born to Die (January 27, 2012) → Paradise (EP) (November 9, 2012) 287 days Paradise (EP) (November 9, 2012) → Ultraviolence (June 13, 2014) 569 days Ultraviolence (June 13, 2014) → Honeymoon (September 18, 2015) 462 days Honeymoon (September 18, 2015) → Lust for Life (July 21, 2017) 686 days Lust for Life (July 21, 2017) → Norman Fucking Rockwell! (August 30, 2019) 759 days Norman Fucking Rockwell! (August 30, 2019) → Chemtrails over the Country Club (March 19, 2021) 569 days Chemtrails over the Country Club (March 19, 2021) → Blue Banisters (October 22, 2021) 217 days Blue Banisters (October 22, 2021) → Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd (March 24, 2023) 518 days Now, let's figure out where her upcoming album would fit into the list if it were released on the 12th of March 2025: Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd (March 24, 2023) → Upcoming album (March 12, 2025) 719 days Ranking from longest to shortest gap: Lust for Life → Norman Fucking Rockwell! (759 days) Upcoming album → Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd (719 days) Ultraviolence → Honeymoon (686 days) Paradise (EP) → Ultraviolence (569 days) Norman Fucking Rockwell! → Chemtrails over the Country Club (569 days) Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd → Upcoming album (719 days) Born to Die → Paradise (EP) (287 days) Chemtrails over the Country Club → Blue Banisters (217 days) It seems like the upcoming album’s gap could rival the one between Norman Fucking Rockwell! and Chemtrails over the Country Club! It’s been a while since we’ve gotten new material from her—I'm sure fans are eagerly awaiting it!

I used GPT yesterday to do some research on album rollouts in general, basically according to it the single should be released no later than next week if the album is coming out in May. The only 2 albums I could find that are not being released on a Friday are Lana ‘s , and Kanye’s next album (he’s releasing it on a Sunday because it’s North West’s birthday). 0 Quote So if you don't know, don't give up , 'Cause you never know what the new day might bring

BethDufreneOnTheBayouByYou 11,188 Posted 1 hour ago Maybe she originally planned to go back to making music that was less personal—something simpler and more melody-driven. But after getting with Jeremy in May (wasn’t she possibly with Jack D before that?), falling in love, and deciding to get married, her life took a sudden turn. Now, she’s inspired to write about this new chapter? I mean, she moved to a completely different state and environment—it makes sense that she’d want her art to reflect this new life. Releasing songs from 5+ years ago might feel out of place with where she is now. Which is fine, I just wish she'd communicate that I'd rather wait another year than get an album full of stupid for being happy, hey blue baby, prettiest girl in country music, country roads, etc etc which sounds like a nightmare to me, personally
Embach 50,911 Posted 1 hour ago I want her songs to have a lush orchestra again, like in the songs of Paradise or Honeymoon. I don't personally really like the orchestra style of Drew Erickson, I feel like his strings are too muted or lowkey (which is my only problem about songs like Ocean Blvd - even though I still love it). I need to have a dramatic orchestra, like film score-type strings. Dan Heath and Patrick Warren executed that perfectly. Heath's alternate versions of Young & Beautiful, West Coast and Ultraviolence demo/Melancholia are heavenly.

It seems doubtful she would make so complete and drastic a move. My money is on her maintaining at least one Los Angeles home and moving between them.
