I wonder if we're still getting the 4+ year old songs she did with Jack cause I feel like 13 tracks is too short for an album that has allegedly been in the works for that many years (even if she wasn't actively working on it all the time cause she released other stuff).

 

My prediction of tracklist and sound is:

- A couple of the older Jack tracks

- The Luke songs (I have no idea how many there could be)

These two segments being the more traditional country sounding songs

 

- The majority of the album composed of relatively recent songs with Drew and Zach

- A couple of newer Jack tracks

 

These songs are probably the more folk/standard acoustic ones (I expect a blend of Chemtrails and BB just based on producers).

 

There's also the southern gothic stuff that she mentioned a couple of times and even though there's the mistranslation thingy... she still has an IG highlight with that exact name so 

 

Of course there's also some overlap in producers (Henry being Luke + Drew) but I think there are some differentiated periods on the timeline of this album based on what we know so far 

 

And I'm still lost on the Fenway intro song... from what we know I think only Zach could have produced that but it sounds too different from what we expect (even for Lana that likes to put some random tracks that sound nothing like the rest of the album).

I only wanted to mention the "official" producers she tagged but yeah it sounds like Rick or even Tim Larcombe  I miss them

Yesss.

 

I think she was in dark lust for life southern gothic kind of mood in that period of time (from march 2024 to mid summer 2024). Because her leather outfit for second week at Coachella, veils, the mirror song, tough and her mentioning southern gothic aesthetic were talking about it. But then something shifted and she came back to stripped back production.

That's why I'm interested in this album a lot, I wanna hear the final result, see the visuals and first singles. 

 

Also insiders info, that she didn't change the album and it still lasso but with another title, sounds a little bit confusing. Cuz why would she take sm time and postpone the album, to release the same project that was mastered in September? I think I need an entire interview dedicated to this project
