sadly requesting to follow doesn't work bc she never goes through and approves (i imagine there's 1000s of requests and thats why), u just gotta catch it when it's open

I read somewhere (can't remember where, maybe on the lana reddit or that ig account that posts when HM opens) that accounts with a lot of followers/requests don't automatically accept everyone when they go public. I don't know if it's a glitch or if it's intended (or if it's even true, but it seems to be the case...)
