I was listening to the most recent radio interview she had with _____. And, i thought it was great how she added in the lines about staying in the pines. Is this a Yosemite clue?

 

I wish she wouldn't censor herself when it came to her writing. Aside from Cola's epitome of a powerful man with, strangely enough, a low threshold of personal control over his desires, I've never really thought her lyrics were crass.

 

Not that I condone what she's written in Cola, but, even that line had a sense of artful, meaningful purpose. I just hope the depth in her words stay precisely evocative of what she wants to say, how she says it, above it all.

Lust for Life instrumental is still the best. Groupie Love, Love and Heroin are next. The others are still good, including Coachella.

Except Summer Bummer- it's the only one i have a problem with cause I didn't enjoy listening to it at all! Sorry but that song is purely only good for the vocals

 

I think overall it's still not a strong album for instrumentals though. But im so happy we got them!!

Lana said that she wrote Yayo about her friend Rob in one of her concert. Rob had died of drug overdose so people are speculating that Heroin is about him.

 

Personally, I didn't know anything about him before, but now I think that many of her songs from Born To Die might be about him.

And she likely hadn't even met g eazy when she wrote this in 2016. It was an early song to a different version of ldr5, one that was without the influence of her fling with g eazy
