While I definitely enjoyed these singles, I’m really hoping there’s some more melodically driven songs on this album. I miss the strong melodies & harmonies from BTD / UV.... I don’t necessarily need her to return to that subject matter, but I just hope every song isn’t written as one long poem.

I'm just glad that Jack Jackoff will not be producing this record. I'm so tired of his lethargic guitars and farting horns.

You're all probably gonna eat me for it but ok.
So, I listened to the three songs again today, followed the lyrics, and as far as I felt compassion towards Lana as a person, I felt unbothered by her as an artist. I guess this is controversial but these lyrics are totally messy and yes, they do evoke emotions from her, but they're too hermetic, as if about secret, private life whose audience can see only a glimpse. The thing I find the most beautiful about artistry is to bring value of your personal life and try to make it at least a bit more universal. She doesn't do that here. Or maybe that's just the thing with me; I don't really like soft piano ballads, I dislike soft rock and folk with passion, and I still think these tracks could've easily be added to COCC and no one would notice a difference. Bonus tracks, for instance. To say they're ill-produced would be an unfair understatement, but I find myself not interested by the final product.
The new album will for sure feel like a pleasant journey to her heart, and I will consume it once, but I will not be probably listening to it over and over as I used to with her previous records. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to criticise Lana but, to me, this doesn't feel like music for the masses, just something homemade to ease your own pain that only the hardest stans or closed ones are going to be fascinated by. It's so surprising because I much preferred Violent Bent Backwards over the Grass.

Yeah so what you do is just put them into a new playlist, name it the same thing and select whatever you want as the album cover

TB is messy and blm lyric makes me cringe but BB is good and i love the small piano during green and grey and the haunting single piano at the end but i hate the chucky doll birthday cake and nokia lane lyrics MM 9/10 BB 8/10 TB 7/10

We dragged jack through the mud but he could've easily produced some piano ballads with synths? they would've been better too.. he's a perfectionist and wouldn't have let the horrendous mixing go through like say whatever you want but at least his vocal mixing was almost always good ( except on dark but just a game ) and the music sounded profesional and finished. Also maybe he would have told her #that lyric is terrible ugh she's really ruining the whole vibe with the covers and questionable production choices because the songs are actually really nicely written and i love the melodies but 

am I supposed to be worried her label took eclipse's posts down? I mean they're doing their job for once but you know 

Lana's silence is lowkey unnerving Nonetheless I'm really hoping we get the songs today, so excited

She‘s actually a very kind interviewer and was only doing her job. It would have been easy for her to portray Lana as a mad woman, but she handled it in a professional way 

About 6 and a half hours left and still no OFFICIAL announcement...  Anyway, any last words for the Chemtrails era?
