I honestly feel like LFL was necessary though. I mean no doubt not her best work bc the lack of cohesiveness and how scattered her vision was for the record, but I really think she was experimenting her own work and possibly seeing what'd click or not. 
 
NFR, although we don't fucking know as much, could honestly just be another subtle album, like Charmbracelet to MC or something, that's what I think atm anyway. (Really not shitting on Charmbracelet, it's a great album, Mariah always servessszs)

she cant even be bothered to release her own damn album we'll be lucky to even get one musical line from her

Maybe I'm too much «all or nothing» with her, but the only news I care about are music news and poetry (to a very second distant degree). To see her in a new dress will be a big meh for me that will fade two seconds after I've said she looked cute (if it's the case). Her «insta baddie» posts do the same thing to me. 
Usually, when she is completely silent, it's when things pick right after. So maybe this is why I prefer the silent treatment to posts irrelevant to music. 
And let's face it, we all want her to do something, but something regarding music. And I don't see it if she attends the MET gala. 

I wish Lana worked with Emile Hayne again... Wait For Life is one of her best songs tbh & I adore Emile's style of production

Can I be honest? I think that's a possibility. Lana's writing has been suffering recently (in my opinion ofc, none of the singles wow'ed me when it comes to lyrics) and I think if she spends more time with her new friends her writing will suffer even more. The thing about Lana is that she has been through some pretty dark, weird and shitty situations and when she wrote about these things and relationships her storytelling abilities shined the most. She has been living a calm and happy life for some time, and that showed in some songs from LFL. Give her a couple more years with this new posse and the only thing she will have to write about will be the California sun, matcha tea, ugg boots and how sad she is because she was in the hot tub for too long and got cold when she got out. 
 

Honestly, If she can't release albums, I wish she'd do more singles or EP style things.

what does the theme "camp" of the met gala mean ?

its based on an essay by susan sontag called "notes on camp." she tries to define what "campy" means. outlandish, heightened, exaggerated. drag queens and outdated stereotypes of gay men are considered campy. but tbh even some of lana's work could be considered camp (the more theatrical, melodramatic). some really good examples are john waters' movies (and he and lana are fans of one another!)

What's the difference between Lana Del Rey and a hangover?
