I guess my point was, music videos and promo shoots aren't necessarily not part of the art. 

She actually used to clearly put a lot of effort into music videos and photoshoots as an extension of the artistic process. Part of why video games blew up in the first place is because of that. I'm not sure what changed but she doesn't seem to care about the visual aspect of the albums at all anymore. 

She snapped with Heroin. I'm still stunned by the lyrics and climax to this song. Truly the best song on Lust for Life.

Yikes, this whole situation is so messy. I wasn't sure if I wanted to participate in this thread, because everyone has such a strong opinion on the matter (both sides) and at the end of the day, LB is just an online forum (no offense). I do agree that it is a delicate subject, though. 
 
I just want to say that, after reading the whole thread, I feel like something's up with her. The silent treatment she's giving the fanbase, the laziness (her own words about shooting the album cover, and also the way she dresses lately), saying she wants to be an "instagram baddie", and now this Hillsong church situation.
 
It's just an observation; I'm not trying to judge, but she seems so restless. As if she's having some sort of identity crisis. Idk

This! It doesn't matter if y'all like Billie or not, and frankly it doesn't even matter which one out of them would end up getting the number one album if they (hypothetically) both released on the same day, because IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Interscope aren't stupid, they're not gonna let THEIR OWN ARTISTS compete with each other. Both Lana and Billie have the potential to get a number one album, so they are going to try to make it happen for both of them – by not releasing both albums on the same date. And since Billie has already announced a release date, Lana has to release before (unlikely, IMO) or after that date.

The ratio is good because the only ones to listen to the song are her stans lmao. Nobody else has heard of it or cares. Her commercial flop era is coming. 

Let's not forget the fact that Lana recorded 13 songs with Auerbach but we have only heard 9. There are still 4 UV-style songs waiting to be heard
