Hope this will be her Lana Del Rey... and Other Musical Instruments with every song having different 'world music' influences. It's time we have Raga Lana

My sister is a huge huge Lana fan since Born to Die like me (we actually grew up listening to Lana together lol) but she kinda stopped keeping track of her during Chemtrails - Blue Banisters (she still played all her older stuff though, including Norman which is her favorite). I was kinda sad bc I couldn't discuss those albums with her since she didn't even give them a try  Now she's 100% back with Ocean Blvd which she loved and now she fell in love with Chemtrails

    The power of Ocean Blvd

March was such a terrible, terrible month for me, it even ruined my first listening experience with this album.
I feel better now and Ocean Blvd has become the highlight of my year.

The Grants - Ocean Blvd - Sweet are some of her best ever vocals, lyrics and performance
A&W - Candy Necklace - Kintsugi - Fingertips - Paris Texas has to be her darkest run ever, and not only that but A&W and Fingertips are career peaks
Grandfather - Let the Light In - Margaret  These songs are epic
And Peppers and Taco Truck are absolute bops. Taco Truck is one of her best ever songs to smoke to...

The lyrics are fantastic through the whole thing, so many iconic lines and interesting stories. Fingertips is definitely my favorite.

Also it's incredible how the release of this album kinda officially cemented her as a totally MAIN global artist. Selling out big shows, headlining festivals all over the world, awards, critical acclaim, record-breaking streaming numbers... ugh. I knew 2023 was going to be huge for her. 2024 will be bigger!

    Thank you Lana.

I'm sorry, but I do want Lana to release those songs. A country EP would be great.

I think that's exactly the reason... like 99% of his sales/streams are going to be from Lana stans so it's better to put out some stuff before just in case something really moderately sticks.
Also so people listen to his solo songs since they are going to be overshadowed by Lana's track on release

I lowkey need Neil Krug and Nadia Lee Cohen to follow Lana around constantly to capture these moments professionally

Ben will surely do a livestream in which he records the stage floor. 😍

She's clearly on a roll, after OB's global success, the Candy Necklace video, SYTH becoming something of a hit, this high profile festival headliner, to say nothing of the two upcoming songs on Rob's album; those are just around the corner.

I wouldn't be surprised if she had another music project of some kind ready to go.

Tonight, Lana Del Rey stopped to meet some fans while dining out at NINO Cucina in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Earlier in the day, she visited the Ipanema beach for some rest and relaxation before taking the stage at MITA Festival tomorrow.

In all seriousness, and we'll see with this Saturday's performance, but I think there is a way to incorporate your own classics, while also incorporating newer/never performed, bombastic and/or impactful songs into a festival set to keep it fresh. It's all about balance and vibes.

    Her own lack of taste

ETA: Imagine her opening the set with some old school song from a forgotten or iconic movie like she did in 2015, 2016 and 2018, and after that Byron would've started playing an extended piano intro to White Dress, she walks on stage, salutes the crowd and then "Sun staaaare...". I would've lost it.

It's very obvious. They want simple, sped-up versions of Lana's songs. That doesn't mean Lana should water down/dumb down her art for shallow fucks who use her songs like Young & Beautiful as background noise while they fat-shame her and other celebs.

Can Lana listen to her fans (like Taylor) and release the slightly sped up (non chipmunked) James Ford version?

the way musicmafia tags changed so many songs for me….

when charli’s pop the balloons leaked in full without the tag i felt so empty that i listened to an edited version that added it back in 😭😭😭
