Thank you for your comments. My friend actually messaged me today and we talked a little so I think we'll be fine :')
Now, while the Court hasn't ruled the ceasefire, they believe Israel should take measures to not inflict any pain to civilians.
Although that happened, I saw this today on Instagram and it made me so sad. This is so unfair
The Zionist Argentinian Organization just completely erased Cisjordania and Palestine from its map.

FUCKING HELL. I just had the most vivid dream and my jaw is still dropped.

In this dream, I had just gotten home when I checked my phone and saw Lana posted on IG. I check it and it was a reel, some sort of BTS video with new music and the caption said something about creating something special for us, releasing very soon. It was very similar to an album trailer.

After scrolling down her feed, it was full of screencaps of a new video and each photo had a caption of a timestamp next to a name of one of her past songs. I was confused, after I checked her YouTube page...

She had just released a new fucking song and it was around 15 minutes long. I think it was a short film. She looked fantastic, the video was very ethereal, it featured scenes of her dancing in her underwear and then people attending a funeral, her siblings hanging out, etc, which was very odd lol

That's when I realized what the timestamps meant... She sampled some of her most popular songs throughout the new song (only small lines, like a cute throwback)

I don't remember much about the song, except for it being produced by Jack and it had the line "I wear my days blue". It sounded similar to Let the Light In and A&W. Very folk, bu moody and dark as hell.

Then checking LB... Only two threads were made cause apparently the site went down

Some people here were discussing how good the song was, because she was addressing most of her past controversies as a huge "fuck you" at the critics and fake fans, it was very catty and sassy. Others complained because Lana had only released the film without the name of the single, (I think the title was something like "LANA DEL REY - SHORT FILM") nor the release date for the song or the album... Just the film with a titleless song

I want a lana dolly cover but of a deep cut early stuff (what lana is a fan of). The Bridge, Dover, the one about being sent to an asylum by a man so he can get with another women. Dollys dark and twisty sad girl shit from early on. Hell I'd take I'll Oilwells Love You even.

The ICJ has delivered its interim decisions:
Israel must take all measures to prevent any acts that could be considered genocidal - killing members of a group, causing bodily harm, inflicting conditions designed to bring about the destruction of a group, preventing births Israel must ensure its military does not commit any genocidal acts Israel must prevent and punish any public comments that could be considered incitement to commit genocide in Gaza Israel must take measures to ensure humanitarian access Israel must prevent any destruction of evidence that could be used in a genocide case Israel must submit a report to the court within one month of this order being given https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/world-68097640

While disappointing that the ICJ has not ruled for an immediate ceasefire; the positive news is that they do believe Isreal has a case to answer and they have in effect, taken the case on!

Sorry for rambling but here I go...
I have a friend here in Argentina who went to Israel to participate in the military training that gives you around 6k of euros every month - and that was the sole reason she went there.
I tried to explain to her why she shouldn't do it. Personally, my great grandparents were from Syria and they ran away to Argentina to survive. Syria also knows no peace - they were bombed as recently as October of 2023. So I feel the Palestine people deep in my heart.
My friend went to Israel anyways (which it's OK) and was one of the best shooters of her squad. Then October happened and she shared a story on her Instagram saying "Israelis are different to Muslims as they don't teach hate at a young age as Palestinians do" and we had a huge argument about it. I told her that's not her war nor her problem. And that she shouldn't be siding because she's quite ignorant about it, because she wasn't raised Jewish, and didn't know anything about the conflict. I do, because I like reading, put attention to school and, as I said, I feel quite connected to Palestinians as Damascus (where my great grandparents were from)  it's quite close it.
I kind of feel sad because I feel I lost her. She said I made her uncomfortable and I told her she also made ME uncomfortable, shooting shit and participating in a genocide for 6K of euros a month. Is that the cost of your dignity?
Maybe I shouldn't have done it... Maybe I went too far? I feel super sad about it. But I also felt like I couldn't help it. I was fuming!
She asked to be released from the IDF nevertheless, and they granted that. I'm just hoping we can reconnect :/

The Honeymoon Fest is a Lana Del Rey-themed party held in Argentina. So far, it had four editions:

November 3 - The Eras Party - Lana Del Rey & Taylor Swift - Buenos Aires
December 22 - Born to Die: The Christmas Edition - Born to Die era - Buenos Aires
January 6 - Honeymoon Fest - Pop & Alternative (Marina, Arctic Monkeys, Billie Eilish and more) - Mar del Plata
January 20 - Stargirl Party - Lana Del Rey & The Weeknd - Buenos Aires

The Buenos Aires dates are held at the iconic The Roxy. Their Instagram is @ honeymoon.fest

The Honeymoon Fest is not the only Lana Del Rey event being held in the City of Buenos Aires; Parlantes Holofónicos offers a unique listening experience with one of the best and most advanced speaker systems in the world, the holophonics, created by Argentine inventor Hugo Zuccarelli, who worked with the likes of Pink Floyd in the 70s. They play full-length albums and live recordings. To make things even more immersive, the lights are all turned off the moment the music starts playing. Their monthly schedule includes at least two Lana albums and, next month, it'll be the turn of Honeymoon.

a country album? I know nothing about country apart from Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton as I'm from South America but since COCC I've felt she's already making country music, or at least grabbing a lot of things from that genre. Then again I know nothing about it so don't mind me. Personally, I'm super tired of it, but of course she can do as she pleases, and that's absolutely okay (besides I always wanna see what comes next)
