Thanks everyone for replying to me. I'm in Florida and as of today they haven't arrived. At least I know that tracking wasn't provided to anyone and some have received their orders

Normally that was because Canada Post was delivering it from the UK, but this time they didn’t. I don’t know where you’re based in, but I’m thinking maybe because of COVID there are certain restrictions on some companies when it comes to handling international shipments?

Every time I listen to the song, I can already imagine a sea of people holding lighters up, especially during the bridge and final chorus. It’s one of those songs. It’s sentimental and soft but has a big arena chorus and it just inspires so much passion. Maybe that’s what makes it feel like it’s from 1981. I really hope she sings it live someday because it’s a song that’s begging to be sung altogether.

Am I the only one who hears “psalms and poems” not “songs and poems”? It makes me wonder if there’s gonna be heavy biblical themes across this album. But then maybe I’m just mishearing it and making predictions off of nothing.
 
also something very 1980s heartland/arena rock about her vocals in the verses, idk how to explain it.

I’m so hoping this is on COTCC! I love when Lana has this sound and I just started listening to Nikki Lane and I absolutely love her! 

At the end of the video Weyes Blood says a really simple thing about just living life and I think that was left in because it really sums up the song. I think she’s talking about how LA has served her well but she’s not in a place where she feels like the city is necessarily what grounds her - it’s the people there and that’s why this record is about her friends and family and why she feels like she can leave LA  - but she knows that it’s the people who she loves who make life fun and livable. I think it’s beautiful that this song came first and it makes sense that it’s the first single. I’m definitely hoping it’s track 1! <3

Yesterday, Lana Del Rey and Nikki Lane went shopping at Guadalupe Vintage & Co in Gruene, Texas.
Later that night, the two performed together at a brewery in Austin, Texas.
