I keep thinking about Lana in the blonde wig being such a full circle moment. This is a reach, but it gave me the impression of her AKA persona suffering another heartbreak, and then we see the Lana persona (literally) bigger than ever reaching out and taking revenge. Then the cute moment where they smile at each other right before they leave. My favorite part of the music video~

My grandmother doesn't like music (she grew up in a different time) and she heard me listening to NFR and even she said that the music is beautiful and that she would listen to it. I was shook to hear that from my grandma, but if someone could get her into music, it's Lana

And regarding her “recycling” of certain Lana-isms (party dress, referencing the color blue, etc) I feel like part of her charm is seeing how these staples in the existence of Lana Del Rey change context as she grows as a person. The party dress of Cruel World’s drug addled, depression ridden heroine is definitely not the same party dress that’s worn by the mature, sober, contemplative woman in Love Song and I think that means something.
