I didn't like them on my first listens but they're fucking growers for sure, the melodies, the little pauses she does, the lyrical parallels to previous eras. It really wasn't what I was expecting but I'm living for it anyways

this song is kinda a maze to interpret
one minute she’s talking about her dad, then i think she’s talking about sean, and then this line,

GUYS. is there anyone gonna talk about that "but it's true darling" ??? She havent done her vocal like this since her earlier debut years. Aw maw gawdddd.

When she whispers “hot fire, hot weather...” 
and sings with breathy vocals at the end “like the others baby, burn, burn, burn” in WW 

This song is so strong lyrically. I feel like it was a poet turned into a song. It truly mesmerized me. "I'll be like a wildflower I live on sheer willpower" 
 
Also the instrumental of the last chorus reminds me so much of the beats of Heroin's "it's fucking hot wether !" bridge. Considering this song is channeling Heroin with hot weather lyrics, I'm loving it so much.

When I realized she called her mother „my fathers wife“. Hit me like a ton of bricks 

I fucking love love love the production in the bridge. I totally think it was a deliberate choice. It sounds like the crackling of flames

I just realised that Wildflower Wildfire would have been a great name for the album. Wish it would have been this instead of BB. 

I kinda love the covers they're so camp. When I first saw that Blue Bannisters cover it was concerning cause there was rlly no telling if she was trolling or not but the fact that she made 3 variations is so sdjfhfds also the white border on the Blue Bannisters one.. it rlly adds to it tbh. 

This song has been on repeat for an hour now and it does has its awkward moments with the drums, but this is still my favourite song for the lyrics 
 
I was abused by my brother growing up and my father never stepped in and this song just hits way too close to home 

Okay so maybe I'm just being extra, but does anyone feel like this part is kind of directly referring to fans/us speculating about her personal story?

Like obviously it's speaking about her past and her family, but the way she says "here's the deal" a bunch of times seems kind of like she's consciously saying "okay, you all have been wondering about this so here you go". And then the way she specifically says "gaps to fill in" reminds me a lot of how people on this board have spoken about the time periods and details of her past that are hard to tie together...maybe I'm reaching, but idk, it shook me
