This is one of the dumbest things I've ever read in the thread and that says a lot. She's been in the recording industry for more than half her life and started in her early teens. We literally have scans of a demo CD from that time period.

She's the admin of the site, she's allowed to rebut and comment back to people when her words are being twisted. I wouldn't expect her to NOT reply after people tried dragging her personally for whatever unresolved shit is going on in their own life. This is the discourse baby. If you're stressed she's sending back long responses, then maybe you need to realize the point you're trying to make is rotten

Another thing now that I've read some of the other posts: Elle literally saved the entire old forum that some of us were a part of from extinction and to treat her that way is totally uncalled for. Perhaps a purge of some of the users from this decision would be worth it in the long run after seeing some of the people that have joined in the last few years

I don't think either of the two we have are remakes, as a reliable person confirmed at least one of them was real BUT yeah the 'buying trading' thing is a red flag. Which one is it, Tamar?

A lot of the sponsorship contracts were signed pre-pandemic (we know this because they were in the trove of documents that leaked), so it would've been costly and maybe impossible to back out... though all of them choosing to activate in quick succession doesn't help. If the era had gone off as scheduled we'd have so much content we wouldn't be whining about sponsorships -- instead the pandemic fucked them and she and her team didn't react at all.

Right like I could MAYBE understand the frustration if it was an ad with a countdown that you had to wait on, but all of this shit over something that takes 1 second to hit X on is ridiculous. It's really disheartening to see how personal this is becoming, especially after I've met a handful of people off here irl and they're all lovely
